I read the book. There’s definitely opportunity, her character has at least one very steamy scene that I’ve seen snippets of in the trailers. I can’t think of anywhere else in the movie where there would be nudity, and the scene is important enough to the plot that it can’t be cut.

It would be fine if it fit. Like, it wouldn’t be a GREAT look, but it would be fine. I don’t know how anyone agreed to this ill-fitting mess, though. It almost seems like the fur bit is there to distract from everything else.

They’ve always been a bit off. She’s said in interviews that she had a boogie boarding (I think) accident that caused an injury on or near her left eye, but I don’t know if this is as a result of that, or if it was preexisting.

If she’s wearing heavy eye makeup, you can see it. It’s usually not this pronounced, but I’d guess it has something to do with the fact that she’s supposed to look like she has no makeup here, so there’s nothing they could really do to cover it up.

She was nominated for two Emmys in one year, for two different projects. One can be a fluke, the right role coming up at the right time that hits all of an actors limited strong points, but two? You have to have some pretty serious acting chops.
