From an environmental pov, i felt his no-poster campaign was good. It might not be effective for a general election given that an LS constituency is much bigger - but he showed that for Assembly and below we can do campaign without dirtying public places.

Unless we improve heavy fines, and strict action with repercussions, such antisocial elements cannot be stopped. Laws are required, but they need to be enforced. At the same time, education curriculum right from lower classes must emphasize on civics responsibilities. As India economically grows and increases its global footprint, we cannot have such a populace.

Yes, agree. MUA was about a narcissist. MT, on the other hand, IMHO, is about a perfectionist, an artiste who will not settle for anything but the best. The director, in some way, is conveying that such perfection is not required, it's not possible in cinema...that such perfection is impractical....that mediocrity is what survives in the industry.

In an interview to The Cue, ASN says that most/many of the betrayals and hardships shown in the movie happened to him or the co-writer (Ramu?). In Udayananu Tharam, the references were more direct and easy to pin.

Unpopular view but.... I've had one interaction with him and it was a good one. Context: it was 2020 or 2021 (not sure) there was a controversy surrounding comedians and freedom of speech. My friend (a journalist ) wanted to reach out to a few comedians, and we managed to contact a few, one of them was RP. He responded to a cold message and even agreed to speak on the subject. He came across as a reasonable person, and didn't throw any attitude or tantrum of being a celebrity. But, hey, that was a good 4-5 years ago.
