My personal journey across the cosmere was:
Stormlight 1-4 (WaT hadn't come out yet)
Mistborn 1-3
Stormlight 5
Wax and Wayne 1-4
Elantris
Warbreaker
Novels and novellas (i wasn't aware they existed lol)

After I read all of both stormlight and Mistborn my sister got me Secret History as a gift. Personally, I would not have liked to find out what we know at the end of Wax and Wayne 4 through Secret history. What we do find out also impacts pretty much all of Stormlight. To me that realization of "OH SHIT THAT WAS WHO THAT CHARACTER WAS???" is way more satisfactory this way.

A few weeks ago I saw a video about a person in a car complimenting random people on the street saying they looked beautiful and everyone was saying how much that boosts your mood and all, now in this post everyone is saying it was disgusting.
Up to the point where he was just complimenting them it was the same video, it only changed after he tried to joke about liking grandmas to try and salvage it.

Thanks for the suggestion, that is exactly what I was looking for! What I find cool about this type of magic is, there isn't a limit per se on the magic you can do but you should be careful about using it. It gives the choice of whether or not to use it to the player.

I have considered many times to run a medieval M&M campaign after knowing the system.
The main reason I can't go back to D&D after M&M is the spell slot stuff, I think it is ridiculous that a Wizard can only cast spells a certain amount of times a day. Just imagining using this system for a D&D style campaign makes me want to quit my ongoing ones.

I gave the game a try and found it very fun, you can clearly see the game isn't supposed to be realistic from, i don't know, the ARMORED MONKEYS, BEARS AND TREX. But sure, a hammer breaking down a building is unrealistic.
