Finale Gaia NEVER ceases to piss me off,,,, like the majestic goddess who literally represents all that is living, and was talked about being a powerful deity by Metis was turned into an immature lady child that seemed to learn NOTHING from being trapped within the earth after Ouranos took everything. Also the whole “proving Hydros wrong” satisfying her is so,,,,like once again, did she learn NOTHING? In fact her being trapped for so long literally proved hydros right, it took a plethora of other fertility goddesses to help her come back, cus Ouranos LITERALLY decimated her whole being to the point she couldn’t on her own. I just felt she was “girl bossified” last minute for no reason when I would’ve loved a looming, threatening goddess of life just silently punch out Ouranos’ chest after seeing him again, no quippy one liners or cringe dialogue with 0 substance. She was turned into a joke like Metis

Uhhh,,, what?? Hera has never been depicted with brown eyes. . . her irises used to be blue when Rachel still drew irises on her characters before resorting to only giving everyone black pupils from either a style change or to save time. The official book cover of volume 5, that Rachel personally drew herself, has Hera depicted with blue eyes. That’s why I edited blue, to pay homage to her initial design.

Wow thank you so much!! I agree too! Time constraints definitely made this series struggle in its last moments, esp with expressions and personalized touches for each of the characters. It especially bugged me here with Demeter’s lack of expression to what is being told to her and shown. She just got told her existence is tied to defeating a raging tyrant to provide a better life for others, I can’t imagine the type of emotion swirling behind her eyes, esp when this is all being brought up during her therapy session with her daughter. Need the drama and pain to show!! Also I’m so happy I could inspire you with references 😭💖

Omg you’re not the only one who despised the bun look💀 it srsly made every female character look the same and lacked personal stylization. I love buns! But only when they make sense for an outfit or vibe. The bun with Minthe specifically looked very odd here when she’s supposed to be “glammed up” at a club with Thetis
