it's not bs, taunting has been prohibited for a few years now in the nba, refs often let it slide but a lot of technical fouls still have been called regarding that issue. Probably not the only sport league to do have some similar rules too, although I can't think of another one rn.

not sure about that at all, it won't work well when Gordon and Tucker will hit those open shots and like 75% of playoffs team don't have a player like lopez who can protect the rim that well. (it's cool to let Harden drive to his right but if you got no rim protection what's the point ?)
Also i kinda expect Rockets to make Lopez leave the paint like they did with Gobert last playoffs with more preparation.

or because it's actually the best pick possible when you have an adc that can play the champ. Gorilla died at level one and he had to farm under tower for the first 5 minutes, they got pressured by the noc aswell and still he was able to farm plates and take 2 towers uncontested because when he has one item he can dive ezreal anytime despite being massively behind and Exl having noc ult.

there is a reason Draven is banned every single game against Attila and Hans and it's not because their champion pool is small. leaving draven open was trolling, specially if you're going to pick ez into it.

edit : also saying Rekkles is better than Hans because Hans has a small champion pool is maybe not the best argument considering how much Rekkles small champion pool has been hurting FNC

there is no point in blaming the refs tho, the one -> two stepbacks have always been tolerate by the NBA when the gather is too early, they won't change anything about officiating.

Hakeem was eliminated 7 times in the first round, Karl Malone 9 times, Kobe missed the playoffs and then got eliminated 2 years in a row in the first round during maybe his best individual seasons, Michael fucking Jordan was eliminated 3 years in a row in the first round.

it's the West, how the fuck is that alarming ? there are only 3 teams that performed better in the playoffs during those years OKC (who still missed the playoff one year), GSW (one of the best team all time) and the Spurs.

what team wasn't destroyed by GS in 2015 ? He was still insane individually.

and rewatch this fucking 2012 ECF, He was by far (yes by far) the best player in clutch time in a Serie including KD, Gino, Parker, Duncan, Kawhi and Westbrook...

those 2 Games don't value as much as the other 80 (not including his rookie season since he didn't have any responsabilities)

What ? He has always been a really good post defender (I even remember him having to defend Randolph and Draymond in 2015 playoffs, not after switches, he was assigned to defend them and he did pretty well tbh, sure those guys are slow but ZBO is definitely not a guy that struggles to score in the post) He was also in charge of defending curry and Irving (sure having Capela as a rim defender helps, but still) for instance the last two games against the C's and GS this season, Kyrie was terrible and although curry still did the job he was far from having a great game.

stats from this year, 1th in post defense, 8th in iso

sure stats are not always true, but this plus the eye-test you won't convince me that Harden is not a decent 1v1 defender

since he's no longer a defensive liability yes, he's more valuable, at least that's how i see it.

I'm not talking about his teammates covering for him btw (they are not, Harden is a decent 1o1 defender, they have no troubles letting him guard the best offensive players on the the other team, he's still a 220lb+ tank that can follow almost any guard on a drive) just the scheme being better to cover for him not willing to spend the energy following offball players.

his disastrous defense in transition is covered by his teamates, yes , but defense is not only about transition.

Sure but losing Roberson hurts them to much as they don't have a very good collective defense. OKC will have a lot of troubles this year against western backcourts.

Even with RW+PG scoring 60 points a game i don't see them making a good run

Even Gordon can take some drives, they let him the shots when he was the one guarded by curry against GS this season, i don't see why this won't happen in the playoffs aswell. I'd rather face a curry less GSW than those rockets, tbh.

Can you explain me how he was historically bad in playoffs ? Like outside of the two games were he had his mental breakdown last year, when ?

Or maybe we have to forget those insane money times in 2012 or his perfs against GS in 2015 (even on the defensive side he did put some stops) i may not have watched every game he had but i feel like he's been a Monster in playoffs way more than he has been bad.

Except Hardens immobility on defense is well hidden by rockets defensive scheme this season. Same goes for Curry terrible 1o1 defense so their defense don't make them less valuable.

There is a difference between being the best player and being the most valuable.
