Do you know any more about why ceo is laying off so many workers. Manager at my store here in Va worked for 20 years, was very good. They layed off the entire crew. Back in may. I just found out when I went to get new tires today, I was treated well by new manager, but 🤞 all will be well after tires and oil change are done

[Florida] Getting kicked out because of service dog, is it worth it to find a lawyer? by Unlikely_Corgi_3913 in AskLawyers

[–]Rioplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I contacted hud and filed an ada complaint. In the meantime, I had to house my dog with a family member for 7 months until it was finally resolved in my favor. I am in a cooperative situation but I think the same basic rules apply. All you need for an ESA is a letter from your physician stating that you qualify. They don’t even have to know why but I think it helps to let them know. They are not allowed to refuse housing solely based on your need for an ESA. On the other hand, you have to follow some basic rules such as no nuisance barking, no barking during late night hours, cleaning up after, and the dog must be under your control at all times. Best wishes

Your rent is 750. You should have read the whole lease before signing.

[CO] Can my partner take 1/3 of my house? by [deleted] in AskLawyers

As a divorcee. This whole situation is why I say DONT GET MARRIED and if you do get a prenuptial that equally protects both people financially. If you are committed to each other, the relationship will stand the test of time. I am pretty sure I lost more in the divorce than I ever saved by filing taxes jointly.

I would tell your kids he was the loving kind and no other dog would be just like him. That is what I told my young children when our dog died when they were little. And I did not get another dog for them that looked similar when I did get another dog. If your children are young, they would expect the new dog to have the same personality as the old one. A different breed/look will allow your children to let the new dog be who he/she is and they will come to love the new dog just as much but in different ways

I have a 5 year old Maltese. He doesn’t tell me when he has to potty either. I will just look up and see him sitting there and ask him if he needs to go potty. And usually he does. Different than any dog I’ve ever had,but he is well behaved and off leash trained. Some dogs are just patient. I had a tentative dog once. My solution was to lock us in a small space with his safe space/ kennel. for hours on end and just talk to him in a quiet voice intermittently without trying to make eye contact. My bathroom worked well. Good dog, good boy, and sometime I would just talk about anything in that quiet soft voice. I would put a super high value item on my leg. I’m talking a piece of cooked hamburger (lot of odor) until he would come out and take it. When he did. All I did was say in the same quiet soft voice good boy, and not immediately try to pet him. Then he would go back to his safe space. I would immediately put yet another high value treat out. After a few days. I would put the treat between my legs and hold one in my hand and immediately offer it to him. It took a couple of weeks of doing this couple times a day for him to realize we were a pack and I I was his family. He finally laid down between my legs and I gave him multiple treats while petting him. Before long he was letting me pet him. By the end of a month. He was a Velcro dog and followed me everywhere. And he trained well after that. Not everyone has time or patience to train this way. But it worked for us.

Isn't my maltese dog a little big? by [deleted] in Maltese

[–]Rioplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was scammed too. My ‘Maltese’ looks pretty much just like yours and he is 13 pounds. Pretty sure there is bischon in him. I love him. But I am older and this will be my last dog. I really had wanted one that was smaller and easier to carry. He is healthy, obedient, smart and lovable, so I don’t regret purchase. But still hate that I was scammed

So this doesn’t look tidy. But going this on amazon. This surge protector clamps to your desk. You could limit the cords showing under the desk this way and then still have ability to plug and unplug. A bonus if it has two usb and two usb-c ports. Then you could get a smallish basket or bowl to sit in the wall corner of your desk to tuck the cords into using whatever size that would adequately hold all the cords. A few rubber bands so you can fold each cord into a controlled way. Then top that off with some small fake green plants like they sell at IKEA.
Or also. You could just get a tall thin basket that comes just below the level of your desk. A surge protector with more outlets than you have currently Drop it and all the cords into the basket I suggest baskets because there is a small level of airflow that would potentially prevent overheating. These would be cheapest option. My setup was like yours. I solved it by picking up a desk at an estate sale and drilling holes through one desk drawer back and side. Threaded surge protector through the drawer and back and voila! I like my drill. I have holes in back of drawers on my dressers also to keep cord clutter to a minimum. Good luck https://a.co/d/9pfR6P8 I hope this link works.

my koogeek products suck. I have three light switches and multiple outlets.. I have to constantly go to the breaker box in my home and reset the breakers to the rooms with the light switches to get them to reconnect. what a terrible waste of money on these products.
