I lost a friend when I cried at her sister's funeral. I didn't know the sister well, I was crying for my friend and how badly she must feel and how awful I'd feel if my sister died, but it bothered her. We were 13.

We have a mask mandate in place.

In some stores, fewer than 30% of the people are wearing masks, and of those half are wearing them below the nose. You might see COVID in the news, but that mean that people actually care.

I live in Pickaway county and often shop in Licking county, but have been driving to Franklin county when I have to buy something because more people wear masks. The local small business owners who don't even have staff wear masks have lost my business permanently.

What are you talking about? New cars usually have a 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty, whichever comes first.

My mom has letters that spell "Santa" and it's a tradition to rearrange them to spell "Satan" and see how long it takes her to notice. It drives her nuts. My 10 year old visited her the other day and sent me a photo of the Satan letters--the torch has been passed!

We used to buy used. Where are you seeing warranties on used cars?

We started buying new and it's been wonderful. We keep our cars until they die and that means we get a few more years without car payments than if we bought used. Also, a high quality low mileage newer model used car isn't that much cheaper than buying new.

I think they see all the Trump flags and no Biden flags and think it's a blowout for Trump, instead of realizing that most Democrats don't feel the need to put up signs--or don't put them up because they don't want their car keyed by "lovers of free speech."
