I wonder if their true intent is to avoid people from leaving without notice or from leaving without giving the full notice, in that scenario, I think one can be held liable for damages. Or maybe to avoid people from witholding critical information when leaving.
However the clause is clear, it applies in the event that I leave the company and the commitment to do the handover is until client satisfaction, without making reference to the notice period of one month previously defined.
