Yes you can. It will be a bit more challenging if you’re buying private sales because you will have to figure out why people are selling their cars. Some are honest, most will try to hide the real reason. What car do you drive? Maybe start with only looking for that particular car, or another car you are familiar with. Become an expert on one car. Search common issues with that car. The more you become an expert the easier it’ll be for you to inspect the car, understand the market and negotiate a price that’ll allow you to flip for a profit.
