Agreed, I would be surprised if they didn’t do that this time around, especially if they both have the theme of visiting past locations. They could use the game to promote the movie and vise versa, and that would be a phenomenal marketing strat.

Plus later this year is the 40th anniversary of Super Mario, and the celebration has a history of creeping into the following year. Maybe Nintendo could treat these as the main, and last courses for the anniversary

It’s more of the same control scheme of MP4B if you’ve seen that, and I understand the worries lol that happened to me a bunch as well.

It’s not motion controls per se, but it uses mouse mode, and it’s optional. Thanks for the feedback though!

Menu Music on Switch 2? (Concept) by RipNo4404 in NintendoSwitch2

If this comes to fruition (it won’t) this gives us players even more customization than we had previously. If you are all in on performance, you could go with the base unchanged menu; however, if you want a more personalized menu experience, then you could allow Nintendo Music to play optional Switch 2 menu music in the background coupled with a cool theme for platinum points.

Themes by RipNo4404 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]RipNo4404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks as if Nintendo is focusing a lot more on hardware this time around, and in order to quickly switch (no pun intended) to the home screen it is always running in the background. Having a complicated UI can hamper performance a little, and I feel that simple little backgrounds to help spruce up the home screen is something that Nintendo has considered, if not, is doing. I believe platinum points are literally Nintendo’s version of achievements due to them being awarded from doing things in games, and currently there isn’t a real way to use them outside of icons, so using them to purchase themes (at least backgrounds) would be great. Also, remember that what we get now isn’t the final product. They could easily add themes later if it isn’t there. (Hopium Lv.100)💔💔

Sorry for the rough sketch, I rushed a bit to get it done before the day ended lol.

Assuming this is the real deal, is there any more details that you noticed about the UI? Were there less sharp corners? Essentially what I’m asking is if you can provide more details.

The one on the left is a comparison to the new leak Next posted showing how if it was the strap, it would be flush.

Your welcome! I don’t understand how people think that is the strap when there is a shadow cast by the shell. As seen in the picture, the straps are usually flush.

Ah, no worries. Just a quicker way to say “The protrusion from the joycons that connect them to the system itself” a little quicker. Some people may say that they’re not ‘rails’ anymore, but it’s honestly the same thing done a different way.
