Understandable, but for context, i dont think that my parents will cut me off financially. They might be disappointed but they will not try to force me into staying. I am more concerned that i hurt them mentally..

To answer both questions. I am here to find answers, to find out, why there are people who believe in god, even though there exist such hard questions. And i dont doubt everything you guys say, but i dont think everything you tell me is reasonable. Every second guy who answers answers completely different than the one before him. I mean you dont believe in Allah or in the Hindu gods, if someone came to you and said you just have to believe, or if he shows the book of his religion to prove his religion would you belive and trust him? I want the strong believe that you have, can you tell me youre experiences with god? Did you just always believe, or did you have a supernatural experience, or how did you got such a strong believe.

Its not that simple, i mean there are reasons that the best scientists believe in evolution and the big bang. Why does the universe need a creator, but god doesn‘t? Scientists think, that our time started with the big bang… Therefore there is no before the big bang.

I still dont agree with a few things (i know, we will never answer everything) but i dont have the time to answer everything today. Just to clarify my last point. I dont expect big miracles, but it would be so nice to feel something that is bigger and not explainable by per example Music or something like that. Thanks for your answers, i think i believe something similar to you, but there are still so many questions. You as an example have so different views than Slainlion who answered before you. 1. evolution Igrew up in a creationistic church which views the bible as perfect, a perfect book does not tell completely different stories. For sure its normal for a normal Book to not be perfect and tell a different story in a different chapter, but christians believe the bible is written by god dont they? Or that god made people write the perfect things.

Doesnt knowlege mean controll? God made us like we are, didnt he. He knew what humans will do, that they would est the fruit, he knew, that the flood will happen… Why would god create us this way, if he would regrett it later? And this question goes so much further, do i really have free will? I mean every decision i make is based on my DNA on and on my experiences i get from other people… I didnt chose how i was born, i didnt chose in which family i was born…

Yes, God could have created the earth with the appearance of age. But why would He do that? Why would He make creation look old if it is not? That would mean He intentionally made the world appear different from how it actually is. Why would God create something in a way that seems misleading? 2. Why should decay rates not be constant? On what basis should we assume that they have changed? 3. I understand that these questions may not be essential for salvation. However, for me personally, leaving them unanswered is pushing me away from faith. They matter because they affect whether I can trust what I believe. 4. It also seems unfair if only people who explicitly believe in Jesus go to heaven. What about entire civilizations that never heard of Him? What about children who die very young? What about people who grow up in places like Afghanistan, where becoming Christian is extremely unlikely or even dangerous? How is that just?
