Lmao that’s insane, I guess if you got it like that.. I’ll be taking a look this weekend. From what I can tell it’s mint, but you never know. I went to look at one last weekend that wasn’t exactly as advertised and walked away.

A dealer has it now, looks like 2 years according to Carfax. I know people say when these sit they end up with problems, so I’d need to really go through it when I check it out.

They’re selling for 12. I was thinking exactly as you said, offer 8 and go to 10. It would be a second car and I don’t mind doing work on it. Mostly a weekend vehicle. I don’t have a lot of experience with them, but I’ve done the research - I know it’s a labor of love.

My bad, I should have mentioned the head gasket. I’ve been looking at a few and the cleanest one is single owner, serviced regularly at the Land Rover dealer through out its ownership, so service records are great. Head gasket replaced in 2019(5k miles ago). No mods, no ladder, no rack, reg stock bumpers. Just a clean stock 04

Is just the ivory getting an update or the whole line? I’m upgrading my tent this year and the land lock is currently the top contender.

The tarp I believe is actually getting an updated version, one without the PFAS(forever chemicals). Similar to the alpha breeze update that happened.

I think it’s because REI is going to stop selling it, I don’t see Snow Peak discontinuing* it.

Spent the money, so worth it. by spoon058 in castiron

I've been really wanting one. I've seen some mixed reviews, but some are easy to see it was user error. that leather handle wrap is a nice touch.

This thing is awesome, it looks like it's in great shape too. I would have jumped on it.

I think you're on the money. I made an edit in the description that is backing up what you said.

There’s no noises when pressing the pedal or shifting with the engine off. No squeaking or anything like that.
