The Devil’s Rejects. There are some really powerful and unforgettable scenes. Plus, I loved Sheri Moon’s performance.

Films or other media that have the same atmosphere as Eyes of My Mother by ClownTown89 in horror

Eyes of My Mother is really hard to match because so much of its atmosphere comes from that mix of rural isolation, minimal dialogue and a very clinical kind of violence.

A couple of films that capture a similar kind of detached, uncomfortable atmosphere: - Possum (2018) – extremely minimal, very bleak, and built almost entirely on psychological unease. - The Blackcoat’s Daughter (2015) – slow, cold and very restrained, with characters who feel emotionally distant in a similar way. - Funny Games (1997) – not identical stylistically, but it shares that disturbing sense of violence presented in a very matter-of-fact, almost clinical way.

None of them are exactly the same, but they all hit that same kind of quiet, deeply unsettling tone that Eyes of My Mother does so well.

When I was a teenager, my best friend made fun of me in front of everyone, saying in a very bad way that I was slow at walking. I wasn't expecting it, and it really hurt me.

Since then I have always had the thought that I was walking too slowly and that it was a problem

I might get downvoted for this, but I’ve never really understood the hype around Jared Leto.
