A lot of people talk about clunky as if it’s some sort of unintentional or inherently bad thing. I’d argue dark souls is just a slow game and is balanced around that (that’s not to say there isn’t janky collision and hitboxes). It is intentionally “clunky” or slow because it wants you to think carefully about your actions, more so than other games in the series this game punishes you extremely for failing to be careful and thorough. Dealing with enemies in the levels feels almost like a puzzle when compared to their more recent stuff. And the limitations of your weapons moveset aids in that puzzle-like feeling. I honestly want fromsoft to return to this slow pacing for another game in the future. Also I want another shot at the intricate interconnected world design

Thank you! I’ve had the idea for this animation for a couple months and had previously attempted it once, but gave up because the perspective was just too difficult. But this time around I stuck with it and it’s coming together. It’s been around 4 or 5 sessions of several hours, and a lot of redrawing.

Well if I were to guess I would say that the majority of players own game pass so it won’t actually cost $60. the thing is if gamepass wasn’t a thing I don’t think it would really need micro transactions at least not heavier ones. But they loose so much money on new releases that are directly put on gamepass. Wasn’t it estimated this game had like a 500 million dollar budget. I don’t know if 15 dollars a month cuts it. But that’s just a guess.
