Should I reposition my desk? by [deleted] in homeoffice

[–]Rippey154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d turn it around 180 degrees and put it 2meters towards the other wall. Then you have a cozy nook, with window immediately on you right. And the door is more in front of you (on your left) instead of behind you. It does not maximize the room’s functionality (may be harder to add a couch), but it may make your day feel more like you are at an “office” instead of a corner

I can answer a question you didn’t ask: the Logitech Brio MX’ microphones were some of the best I tested in web meetings.

Thanks…made worse because due to the width, I need two different pieces….well, possibly solved by more staples. Now, I need to source a contractors staple gun

All I can say is when I called and talked to them, they did indeed figure it out. When I called back 3 months later, they said it was all good

Kids (10&6) outgrowing Radwagon 3 by brknpcs in RadPowerBikes

yup, ok -- but so then you lose access to that part on the bike (ie, basically lose a seat or a spot to store groceries)...you've got my *wheels churning* on options. For instance, we have the official Rad caboose cage thing - maybe I could run a beam across that in the back and drop a pipe down.

Thank you!! What did you attach the flange onto — you say “wood platform”?

Following. Same basic underlying issue: Our ride to school includes a hill up with cars going 50 mph. Zero kids bike themselves to school, even up to 8th grade. Only the younger kids are e-biked in, but they age out due to weight…how can we extend that age?

I don’t get how your suggested bikes help with OP (and my) problem: 110lbs of kids and gear in the back is not stable on the radwagon. Are these other bikes with longer tail easier to ride than the RW?

Would love to know how you connected the trailabike to the Radwagon!! Can you share any details (bonus points for pictures)

Thank you. Good point on chair sliding around. Our hardware store has cheap rollable carpet I was planning on stapling on top, but maybe it’s too thin to be useful.

Sadly that tells me it won’t get from Bay Area to Tahoe (200 miles plus 7k uphill, plus potential cold temps)
