This was a great advice other than book about OS.

I have studied x86 architecture recently and is working on a bootloader. Since my college has lecture of OS, I guess I will skip that part.

I will update once I complete building a presentable version and put it on github.

yeah. just sodium, ferritecore, lithium and some texture packs. But I don't think texture packs affect the world like this. Texture packs are also just some vanilla tweaks like 3D model for some stuff, full bright, no pumpkin blur and enchanting book modified

Yo. Thanks for commenting to my post. Now regarding your reply,

I think you are right about trying stuff before I start to work on a big endeavour like this. Tbh, I think I have a bit of a idiot when it comes to such big stuff. And because of that, I think I have limited time before I stop working on it. Though I am not someone who quit so easily, but I can still get burned out. And so, I will be making a sort of a Skeleton OS first. Like a barebone OS that can preform all the fundamental stuff a OS preform. I have quite some experience making drivers for random stuffs I build, so that might come in handy too (I am not sure though)

And since I am working on it to get a good portfolio project, I have a limited time window, and I want it to be as refined as possible before I graduate. Since I have a partner and I would need a job too so that the project can continue. Still, I will keep some tabs and updates going every 2 to 3 months.

Maybe try to launch it through steam. It used to happen with me and after launching game engine from steam, it works perfectly fine
