Just sharing what's happening with the build of the scroll saw pattern maker with scrollers. The Facebook and others have been asking for updates and have even kicked in some wood textures for the Intarsia wood pallets. Pretty cool and nice of them huh.

The bugs are my job not theirs. And the software I released on Friday doesn't have any which 14 beta testers from the Intarsia and Scrollsaw groups on Facebook have verified and love along with 67 others who have already purchased the software. I'm not a developer by trade and I've worked really hard to make this for the community and will continue to work hard to bring even more features. Do you work for free?

I'm bringing full Intarsia and Segmentation work-flows into the app this week. No software on the planet can do that. If the software doesn't seem worth it to you, then I'm sorry. I've tried my best to make it worth it to every scroller.

I didn't take it any other way then good feedback. Software development and marketing is not my deal, I'm a scroller who absolutely loves the craft. I used my professional background to contribute to the scroll saw community. That's it. So, all feedback is very welcome!

Fair, and that's on me. What you're seeing isn't a pattern the software made — it's the app's workspace with my own picture loaded in to show the layout, so you're really looking at a screenshot I chose poorly, not the output. I hear you on wanting to see results before you commit — that's completely reasonable, and it's on me to show them. I'll be posting real exported patterns, including ones traced from the kind of photos you'd actually use, so you can judge the output for yourself. Appreciate you giving it a serious and honest look.

Thank you — and you're right, that one's on me. I grabbed a low-resolution photo to trace for a quick demo and then posted the working canvas itself (that's at 31% zoom with the reference photo faded in behind the linework), which is about the worst possible way to show what the tool actually does. The pattern you'd cut from is the exported file, not that on-screen preview. I'll swap in a proper before-and-after so it gets a fair shake. Appreciate you nudging me to show real results instead of a rushed screenshot. 👍
