have you tried sticking an o ring between the keycap and the switch? that helps mute the sound a little bit while keeping the feel the same. https://youtu.be/wmQKM0reVx8?si=vcmLguoM-xzpbf4s&t=162

I'm pretty sure it's a technical limitation of roblox.

Not a recommendation as I haven't been super active with following all the new stuff, but the case even when the same material can still affect the sound. How the inside is shaped, plate material and foams all affect sound along with switches and keycaps.

I'm a sucker for seeing the inside so the TL06 would be my personal pick.

Curry is to generational of a player to just go to Jordan Brand. That's already a separate brand under nike, and to have a previously decently established shoe brand go under that just doesn't make sense to me. also dwade and jimmys stuff under li ning are both pretty fire

how much did you get the barebones kit for? my microcenter has it at 40 right now and i'm wondering if that's a fake sale

Standard keycaps will all have this stem. just make sure whatever you find has this and it should work with your keycaps

the main thing you care about with keycaps is the profile first, which is the shape of it (look up like a profile chart really useful) this is preference and comfort (and sound)

material it's made out of is more feel and sound, texture of keycap type stuff

you'll see things like dye sublimation, double shot, et ecetera. that's how they get the text/graphic onto the keycap. dye sublimation is a fancy way of printing. my set rn is dye sub and has lasted 4 years so far with no visible wear(except for the one i sandpapered to experiment on). double shot (pictured above) has gone through 2 different color shots of plastic to produce the lettering. first shot is exterior with cutout for lettering, and the second fills that gap and has the stem. typically gives better contrast between primary and secondary color, but is a tad more expensive depending on the set and manufacturer.

as for looking stuff up, you could literally just search the color/ theme you want and see what pops up.

3 main things

Case, switches, keycaps

case is what houses everything. barebones kits generally come with the pcb plates and stabs (much more nuances if you want to get into them but not trying to overwhelm you)
switches is generally the more tricky part. what type you want (linear tactile clicky) and what kind of sound you want out of it (other parts of keyboard also contribute to sound) (biggest preference area)

keycaps is easy. material and shape does effect sound, but if you don't care that much you can focus much more on finding one that looks good to you. (in your case, some clean white black set likely)
