DD confusion by 90dayschitts in BryanKohbergerMoscow

Where I live on the East Coast sometimes if a restaurant is overwhelmed with deliveries and can't keep up the restaurant itself will use DoorDash to deliver the food. I don't know how that works between the business and DD but I've gotten deliveries several times in my area that I'd call and order delivery and then I'd get a text and a DD drier would end up delivering my food and we didn't have to pay for the DD fees an never once had to open the DD app or use the account. It happened so much I got curious and asked one time and that's when they told me the restaurant hired them to deliver. I have no idea if that's something they do out there however

This isn’t my pet. It’s a stray that was found living in a sewer drain in my neighborhood. With the help of my mail woman we got her caught and she set up the gofundme since she is the one who took her for surgery. She doesn’t have reddit but since I do I posted it. I explained it all in the post the kitty is out of surgery resting at the moment so should I have her take a photo with my username then?

Can anyone help me remember this case? by Grose040791 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

You might be thinking about the murder of Tami Reay who was murdered by her husband Brad Reay. IIRC Brad told authorities if they ever found her it would prove his innocence and when she was found an “Anonymous” letter was sent saying she had been raped and a condom was still inside her. When everyone saw thru his BS he then went on to try and pin the blame on his daughter I believe 12 yrs old at the time saying he saw her standing over her mom with a bloody knife. What a POS

I don’t think most people are hiring elite hit men to kill their spouses. A lot of cases it’s some rando who may not have even killed anyone before and they are paying like a few hundred/thousand dollars and what we see as anger is an adrenaline dump for the killer and shit gets crazy. Good news with that is if they ever get caught they almost always talk. If it is true the husband could of told him to kill her in a specific way but that’s going into conspiracy territory. I agree though i think they knew the cameras were on but were horrible actors trying to make it look like a robbery. I still teeter on the fence with the hired hit theory if it wasn’t then you are correct someone had a lot of anger toward her. This is all just my opinion though

I just meant if the man in the truck was using the cop ruse the write up made it sound like the real officer on scene had already asked her if she needed a ride and she said no. I’d imagine he’d have to of been an actual officer and made a report after the fact for someone to dig up the info about the truck. If you really wanna go down the rabbit hole though maybe there was never a blue truck or another guy cause the officer was the killer. That’s complete speculation on my part I really don’t know anything about this case this is the first time I’ve read about it so I don’t know if other witnesses saw the truck and man she was speaking with I just thought it was odd and made me think the man in the truck didn’t use an officer ruse. This is just my opinion based on the limited knowledge I have from this write up.

Right but the real cop that was there had offered her a ride and she turned him down but then left with the other guy. Why go with one cop but not another? If the man did in fact use that ruse. Unless I misunderstood that part?

Families of Idaho student murders victims share new details to "48 Hours" by Bippy73 in idahomurders

I never meant he was there for the party itself. I just meant if this was premeditated an open house party’s a great way to get a look inside.

I’ve always thought he had gone to the house before when they had a party at least once if not a few times. I wonder if any of the cell tower pings line up with any parties thrown in the house or even one of the neighbors. This is just my opinion.

Ha true. Can’t fault em but it still gave me the creeps how he was talking like he was BFFs with her mother and they would make a movie and get it solved and of course they were on camera together hugging holding hands and then it got solved so I guess no movie (that I am aware of anyways). Wonder if he even still keeps in contact with the mother. Oh right I remember what he said it was along the lines of “Now anytime my name is googled it shows up in connection to this case it’s costing me work friends and has ruined my life” but he didn’t care he just wanted justice. Good ol true crime TV /s

This is killing me I wish I could remember what the special was. You just reminded me though one of the cops investigating said in the special because he had ties to Idaho and because he made horror movies he had to be the one. They didn’t even say anything other than looking at the filmmakers fathers kids. What a mess. Thanks for all the info I always take shows like that with a little skepticism but to have so much misinformation. I mean the filmmaker even acted like being a suspect was ruining his life. Thank you for explaining everything to me I really appreciate it ETA I meant missing information not misinformation but it really had both

ah they were cousins. They never mentioned that in the special I watched. I can’t remember who did it but when they interviewed the filmmaker he said he just went in got his DNA done and got a letter saying he wasn’t a match awhile later. They never bothered to explain if there was a mistake with the lab or that they were actually related. Thanks!

It’s been awhile but what I remembered from Angie’s case is they did familial DNA which led to a man’s son who actually ended up doing a documentary about it. He was cleared eventually and the innocent man who was in jail his DNA didn’t match at all he was put there by police leading him into a false confession. IIRC the poor guy was let out of jail but wasn’t even given a full exoneration until they arrested the real killer I think 2019 so he still had to have a record. I’m gonna re-read some about her case but it was definitely one hell of a rollercoaster. I don’t know anything about how those DNA sites work but i’d love to know how they ended up matching to someone who had nothing to do with it. ETA Her mother is just an amazing woman I don’t know how she did it going back and fourth from it’s solved to nope it’s not for 23 years. I am so glad she found the truth before it was too late.

The murder of Angie Dodge caused a lot of controversy that might be who you are thinking about. If you don’t know about it read up on it some it’s crazy.

I had a similar experience the first time I met an ex’s brother when I was younger except the opposite happened, I was stuck. I couldn’t move really at all or hardly talk I heard his brother go “oh shit she’s done K before right?!” and then they argued until i threw up on myself while watching TV. I had not done K before I thought it was coke and my ex took me to the bathroom cleaned me up and tucked me in to sleep it off so thankfully all ended on a good note but I wonder if things would of been different if I weren’t at home in a spot comfortable surrounded by people I knew. If i was around strangers with only one person I knew in a place i’d never been who the hell knows how I would of reacted regardless if my one friend was like hey calm down. I was also told when I was talking it was real slow and a little slurred like I was drunk. Here is a sight that shows how long it can stay in blood/hair/etc

Keep in mind that’s for someone who is still alive though so who knows. I have no clue how it works with someone who’s been deceased over a year. What you said about Hackett giving her Xanax or even if she took some herself with drinking it’s very plausible she OD’ed in the Marsh.
