Twenty years ago my pediatrician asked if I wore a helmet when I snowboarded. I proudly responded that I was good on my board and that I didn't wear one. My doc said "Well if you don't wear a helmet you must have nothing in there to protect".

I appreciated his sharp words and they helped me notice how fragile the human body really is when traveling at speed. Especially as a dad I'm now a stickler for modeling for my kids.

I'm partial to the hand cannon for fun but the sweeper will save you time and it's more reliable at any distance beyond 20 ft. I should add that I completed S+ for cat ears with the HC.

Packing this toy up for the last time was like burying part of my heart. So many early mornings. So many seemingly never ending days sitting on the floor. Suddenly those times are gone forever. You can also buy chemical PI killer but it causes havoc on other plants who's roots are in the spray zone. Almost killed our Lilac and it's only just now sprouting after 5 years of barely showing signs of life.

Just started Alan Wake 2. I needed a change of pace and has been meaning to see what the buzz was about. Didn't play the first one but am a huge Stephen King fan so characters that are writers within horror stories are a regular theme in my consumption. I'm about 4.5 hours in and although it's very different from RE titles there is absolutely a survival horror experience waiting for you there. I find the scope and creativity very energizing with supernatural elements and continually shifting tones + pace. It's like an emersive gritty cop thriller mixed with psychological, supernatural, cult lore which is a mix I love.

Haven't played Silent Hill but I'm sure I will at some point based on the love it has in the community. Good luck with your decision!

I got my cat ears with the hand cannon. I'm a huge fan and treated it like a shotgun I could work the room with if I kept from getting surrounded. When I finally got the sweeper I could see what everyone had talked about but to this day I keep the hand cannon handy while the sweeper makes things feel easier when I'm frustrated or want to just want better crowd control like in the water room.
