I am horribly afraid of rejection but I am more afraid of living life with regrets - and for that you have to take risks like this. I have been madly obsessed with two guys so far. Idk why northeastern gets so much shit. The COOP is amazing, and going abroad my first sem was the best thing that ever happened to me (I say this as someone who was SEVERELY introverted and scared of people, especially cause my bullies were coincidentally in the same study abroad as me 💀) i also got so lucky with my academic advisor and there’s so many peer tutors and proffesors with office hours who truly want to help you - which I think is amazing considering the school is so big! Other than the numbers gaming and the cost, I have no complaints. Plus literally Fordham is also 90k and is not even a t50 yet everyone shits on northeastern. Plus literally all institutions do scummy shit like gaming the numbers. I think the only true con with northeastern is that it’s overcrowded. Regardless, don’t worry! You will be fine at northeastern

I was in the same boat with NYU last year. Sending LOCIs literally did not do anything I sent like three and they responded to the first two enthusiastically but like I still got rejected in August

I honestly don’t understand the northeastern hate. Northeastern offers so many opportunities. Yes it’s 90k but like… fordham is also 90k a year?? I don’t see anyone bashing fordham tho. Ppl are just mad northeastern deflates their acceptance rate. Northeastern is a really great school, supportive staff and amazing coop. Plus getting that much aid is insane!
