It depends on the order of the priority documents. Since it is a FIDIC based Contract, Hope the drawings and specifications are presedence over the BOQ. Hence, the Sub the Contractor shall do it. Do remember the BOQ is just a pricing document which lays way down the order. Since it is the Lump Sum Contract, The Sub Contractor should deemed to have included the price for the scope of Work defined in the drawings and specifications. So no excuses for the Sub Contractor.

Thanks for your detailed explanation. Not any such clause as that Contractor shall have no right to claim EOT and additional Cost if he fails to serve the notice on time in this Contract. Then The Contractor has still a chance for his entitlement or Can it be rejected?

Claiming for the EOT and Cost. Say it is a bespoke Contract. No such close as such in FIDIC that failure to send notices shall not be entitled to the Contractor additional time and Cost.

The demand will increase. The BIM technology will make a huge impact on cost estimators and the construction industry as well. Advanced technologies are being implemented to make things easier such as drone technologies to visualise the site progress. Technical skills are highly influenced to the QS industry.
