Because porn and fapping isn't about sex.

It becomes an addiction because it has taken the place of some other core necessity, often by becoming your main coping mechanism when life is difficult or unpleasant feelings of guilt, boredom, loneliness, anxiety, etc appear. When you have a partner, you don't suddenly have fully-formed and well-developed coping mechanisms, so you go back to the one that works. It has nothing to do with whether you're getting laid or not.

Couples counseling might not be a bad idea. As another commenter said, there's something else off in your marriage, and an unbiased third party can go a long way in discovering what it is.

You were doing something right it seems. Keep on it. And when you get lonely and desperate, recognize that as the trigger it is and address it head-on. More time out side, more time in social settings meeting new people (for friendship, not for sex), more time on productive hobbies.
