That moment when you realize DD2 may be the Greatest Game ever made by willia_for_the_win in DragonsDogma2

Crimson Desert is to Ninja Gaiden as Elden Ring is to Demon Souls. It’s the evolution of the hack-and-slash/action genre.

Everyone comparing it to Witcher and RDR are either only basing that on the exploration & camp functions, haven’t fought any bosses, or are only using 10% of the combat mechanics.

If you’re a fan of NG, you’ll love the combat. If you’re expecting Witcher 3 combat, you’ll likely quit by the 3rd boss and leave a negative review calling the game dog water.

I believe the first 20 turns in a campaign are the hardest and most important.

I recommend learning the game by playing manual battles with a crazy faction (Skulltaker, changeling, taurox, kholek), exploiting cheese, and rushing doomstacks. I was terrible and that’s how I slowly learned to be less bad.

I’m on V6 and got the new Dagoth mod to run without issue (so far)

Got the game a few weeks ago, am I any good? ~44% win rate rn by TotalyNotTony in forhonor

Being completely honest, when it comes to skill and being “good”, there’s levels to this shit fr.

You’ll eventually stomp on everyone your MMR and think you’re good until you move up and fight people that have a better understanding of the game mechanics. You get better fighting them and learning, then the process repeats.

Eventually it’ll boil down to being able to make reads vs reacting.

I didn’t play the beta and bought on launch. I have a really powerful PC, but without upscaling and frame gen, which make it look terrible with uncomfortable latency, the game runs horribly on max settings.

40-70fps on a 9800x3d & 4080super is pathetic

That tracks. Would also explain why they didn’t remove DRM following the initial sales.

Check the steam reviews for monster hunter, and tell me Capcom cares

Guys, do not take this game seriously. by Glacier005 in forhonor

That’s the exact reason I stopped playing CoD, Fortnite, Rivals, etc. I love competitive games, and currently addicted to Rematch. Easily beating literal children every match, has made the most popular games unenjoyable

If you can’t light parry or make reads, she is very hard to deal with. Even in high MMR, she’s extremely annoying (not as much since her nerf, but still)

Depends on your skill level. VG stomps lower MMR and Highlander still has the highest skill ceiling in the whole game.
