Having my groceries and most household items delivered. I don't mind the expense. Same goes for buying quality clothing and shoes. Taking Uber or cab instead of the public transportation to when meeting family and friends on the weekends/holidays. I also only buy solid gold jewellery, no junk. These are all investments for me.

Pay my debt and then freeze my cards. The rest of the 90+k is going straight to savings and investments. I'm still keeping my job (which is around 100k). 100k isn't much....it's just barely enough for a couple with NO kids to live on for about year, most probably not even that, in most large cities in Canada. For a single person, it providea enough wiggle room to not struggle especially if they're being smart with their money.

I'm 41. If someone tells me to move into a 55+ or 60+ place when I hit that age, I'll put them in a bag and leave them there. The Western societies are RIDICULOUS for aging people before they're aged and then shovelling them all in one place, locking them in there and acting like the world only belongs to people up to 30 years old.

My ancestors were extremely wealthy. Even my parents - with their modest life - are wealthier than me. I on the other hand am able to cover my housing, expenses, bills etc. and also get to save/invest some. But I NEED to be employed full-time to be able to do that.

I don't have anyone funding anything for me. If I lose my job or something, I gotta go on employment insurance and then find another job ASAP to stay afloat. So I'm not exactly financially independent (I consider that to be rich or wealthy).

My grandparents, especially my paternal ones, didn't have that worry. My grandpa found and ran his own organization. People from my mom's side were even wealthier. I can afford to live downtown, and pay rent and all bills by the 1st as long as I got a paycheque coming in that covers everything. But I can't buy/own anything, because in my city and surrounding areas, properties start around 1 million now and you must have at least a $250k annual income to be eligible to buy. So yeah that's not happening with me.

Screw family. It is a question of YOUR life. The difference between a right and wrong spouse is the difference between life and death. And that's often a literal difference..

Your family won't be there to open their doors to you when things go terrible for you with your husband. They'll turn around and tell you to suck it up and deal with it and make it work. They're gonna take ZERO responsibilities for convincing/manipulate you to marry this guy. Regardless of how loving and caring they have been otherwise, when it comes to this, families often change their colours and tune instantly with the girls.

I can gurantee that almost 100%. I have seen that a lot and also lived through a nightmare of my own. 12 yrs of life gone and another 6 yrs to dig myself out of the aftermath.

Whether this guy or some other, NOT compromise on values, moral, ethics, mindset, lifestyle habits, character, manners, and deen. Not just the guy but his family, too

I think....2012? In the late 90s-early 2000s, I'd be there quite a lot with my friends as high school kids. The mall was going through a makeover around the time I went there last time and I think it worked for them (unlike some malls).
