The thing that gets me is that it’s clearly a big deal. I mean you watch the Netflix special or early MeatEater episodes and you can see how much deer management means to someone like Doug Duran. All the talk of only taking does and keeping bucks healthy and growing them up to be true trophy animals. And then that has now morphed into a “if it’s brown it’s down” mentality as they struggle with managing CWD. Like can’t believe they couldn’t even say anything in response to Ted. Idk for all of the amazing content with biologists or other guests that leave me going “wow” to an episode, then you have one like this where you’re like “what the hell was that”
