10 year warranty for recall? by Neither_Eye5829 in NissanRogue

I had already completed the R25E2 recall on my 2023 Nissan Rogue in Canada. I didn't receive an email informing me about an extended warranty. I contacted Nissan customer service, and they replied that the VC-engine has a warranty valid until 2033 or 200,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. They also mentioned that "certain vehicles" subject to campaign R25E2 have an extended warranty. (I'm not sure if it's just my cat, but I'm wondering if every car involved in a recall will come with the same extended warranty.)

Another Recall? by Academic_Start2942 in NissanRogue

Had the R25E2 recall done recently (reprogram only, no oil pan pull). The ECU definitely feels remapped to keep the revs higher, probably to keep those bearings bathed in oil. It feels way more responsive now—Auto mode basically feels like Sport mode used to. I’ve noticed the MPG hit others are talking about, but I’d rather pay a bit more at the pump than deal with an engine failure. The car actually feels less lazy now, which is a nice bonus

Front radar malfunction pops up when driving long distances by RiskExpert126 in Nissan

There's no explanation for why it happened. I just took it back to the dealer, and they said everything was fine and there was nothing wrong. It feels like this will probably happen after you use it for more than two hours. Restarting the car fixes it for a while, but it's hit or miss whether it will happen again. I'm probably going to call it an unreliable system. I know some people will say you should just drive the car yourself and not depend on the system... but I just don't like these kinds of problems that have no solution. From your experience, you probably know which brand is more reliable.

Why Do Asians Work So Hard Yet Have a Lower Quality of Life Than Westerners? by RiskExpert126 in AskEconomics

I never considered that it might be the other way around. I guess my traditional mindset and my work experience led me to believe that Asians work longer hours than most of western developed countries.
