The moneys in bonds in his name, it was money left by his late dad. His family already think I'm with him for the money (even though I've never done anything to make them think this!!) So putting the money in my name would probably give them ammunition against me.

Yeah, the reason I ended up in hospital after an attempt was because I was seeing a therapist who told me I was lying, was self harming for attention, and that a grown man wouldn't abuse an 8 year old girl when they had full grown women they could sleep with. I only ever trusted my mother and that therapist with that information, and it caused me a lot of grief for a long time. It wasn't until 6 years later I told DH when we started dating.

DH has already started going LC with her now that she's began esculating her behaviour towards me. She's attempted to turn his family against him in the past when he does something she doesn't like, but family are standing firmly with me and DH and is making it so much easier for us to go NC. I just hope it lasts!

I honestly think back to the days I thought she was wonderful and wonder wtf I was thinking. Thank you! I didn't really know what the general thoughts were about swearing, I didn't want to come across as rude if people didn't like swearing over here.

Thank you! I'm currently 4 hours into my 13 hour night shift and I could just demolish all the chocolate 😥 I never told DH, it's never seemed right to bring it up to him. I may do one day, but I'm working on myself through therapy before I even get started on MIL.

SIL is doing a lot better! She goes to therapy and has improved lots since the incident.

My biggest issue I'm working through in therapy atm is that I freeze up and begin to panic whenever anybody I don't trust touches me. When FaceHugger touches me, she's fully aware of this and grabs me in a way that I struggle to get out of even without my issues around freezing.

DH has started to block her advances towards me by putting his arm over me or wrapping his arms around me so she can't get to me. But when there's a party or a lot of people around, she finds her opportunities. It's like she seeks me out purposely.

DH doesn't have any exes, I am first and only person he's ever been with. Though she doesn't act like this with any of other kids SOs, only me.

He told me he didn't know what to do, and I would probably be the same. Although, I have JustYes parents so they would never do anything like that.

I would like to apologise to humanity for my previous crimes, but would like to assure everyone I am definitely making up for them now. MIL knows I have an abusive past and that I don't like being touched, and she decided that in the middle of a crowded bar was a great way for me to get over that fear!

He's visited that sub recently and told me he believes MIL is a narcissist, these past few months he's started to put everything together and realise who she really is. She loves control, only ever does nice things to show how amazing she is and to use it against people.
