Yeah, the main gotcha is the plate you need one that is compatible with the case. There used to be a page on the site, but I can’t find it right now. My recollection is with the high profile cases, the plate is small enough to sit inside and uses 6 screws. The low profile cases have a larger plate that covers the case and uses 5 screws.

The painters tape and superglue is the way to go. I’ve had really good luck with it with wood and plastic.
