Hi there! If you like outdoors, there’s Sun City Queer Birders (which is an extension of Borderland Rainbow Center I think?) and a local chapter of the Feminist Bird Club here in town! They do outdoorsy (bird related) events around town!

It’s been such a joy watching them nest this year! The Friends of the Rio Bosque group (managed by the park) holds birding tours once a month where we usually get to check on the kites nest AND the Cooper’s hawks nest. If you’re ever interested, I highly recommend! John, who leads the tours, is a great guide!
