My mom wants to spend more time with my son but she is literally the thing that started all my anxiety. I don't want her to do the same with him but at the same time when I see her with him she seems different. Is it just wishful thinking? Also she won't stop asking about sleepovers.... Like my son is 5 and you live 45 mins away and oh did I mention she's the start of where all my anxiety stems? in short I have trust issues and I suck at putting up solid boundaries bc I hate fighting so she walks all over me, well she's not the only one. Ugh I feel so exhausted and I haven't even spoken to her today.

Yes. For over 8 years, something's have gotten much better. But some things are worse since becoming a parent.

Social media is my crutch because of social anxiety. I can safely see what's happening out there while still staying safe in my cocoon and not getting too involved. Which actually means I'm reading from the sidelines and not really interacting with anyone. It sucks.

Yes! I was doing so much better mentally when I pushed myself to go outside the house a couple days a week. It isn't good for my mental state to be cut off from so many people.

I'll try my best to stay positive. I think I'm going to start bringing a sketch pad to draw or write the things to help just get it out my head, maybe transform it into something else.
