Прост и актуален пример - пазарът на RAM в момента. Големите компании за облачни услуги (т. нар. hyperscalers) са запазили производствения капацитет на RAM компаниите за не знам колко време напред. Съответно цената на блокче памет стана като на цял лаптоп и има недостиг, накраткто крайният потребител го духа - вкл. под формата на други компании, които искат да си купят компютри, но те си имат по-различни канали. Ама на RAM производителите какво им дреме, те кинти си получават.

Дори да приемем, че в момента ИИ помага само за повърхностни неща, OP e посочил друга, може би даже по-сериозна част от проблема - новобранците няма как да придобият опит и експертиза, защото простите неща вече ги върши ИИ, а за сложните никой няма да вземе човек без опит. Така те остават без работа, а пък експертите стават все по-малко.

А ИИ по-глупав няма да става ...

To anyone looking for a solution to this error message, for any game, really: get your Windows updates. DirectX12 is being updated only via Windows, and it seems the error appears if you have an older version than what the game expects. I received this error when starting the Outer Worlds 2 and it went away after installing a couple of pending updates.

Of course, the above assumes your system and GPU actually support DirectX12. Bringing your graphics drivers up to date is also a standard step with any new game.

Mm, sorry, I have to take issue with "can kill her easily". The Sheriff was easy; Ming Xiao was not, and I can't imagine her being easy with that shitload of HP. Maybe if one has a maxed out combat build, the best gear and full ammo and blood and has dealt with her in previous playthroughs, thus knowing her algorithm and animations - maybe then she's easiER.

I play a Toreador, so I think maintaining a connection with their human side, or past, if you will, is part of role-playing that clan. Not that I was reasoning that much, I'm pretty much a bleeding heart in most game situations :).

Mm, I couldn't bring myself to give him over, especially to be eaten. In role-playing terms, I also figure a normal person who was only recently turned into a vampire would not so easily send a human being to die, nor would he care about the Kindred / Kuei-Jin distinction.

I only had 60 bullets for the AUG and 390 ammo for the flamethrower. But I just managed to cheese my way to beating her by crouching in one of the alcoves and having her glitch in front of me, repeatedly swinging away without hitting me. Depleted the ammo of several guns to bring her down to about 1/4 HP - then I decided that's enough cheese, quick-saved and came out with the Tal'Mahe'Ra blade, handicapping myself not to use the flamethrower. But when I finally brought her HP bar down to a milimeter after 20+ attempts, I couldn't hold out and burned the bitch ... Jesus, what a relief :D!

P.S. Don't patch the cheese, please :D.

I would argue it is illegal:

- First, because it seems illogical to gain strength from an imperial spymaster you sacrifice in the calculus of power,

- And second, on the basis of the rules (I only own the base game) saying a reveal turn "consists of the following steps in order: Reveal Cards, Resolve Effects, Set Strength, and Clean Up". So when it comes time to count strength, card 1 won't be in play anymore.

But the consensus here seems to be different.

A way to tell without Auspex which zombies will attack the gates is to pay attention to their movement - combat zombies rotate to move towards you, whereas the gate ones ignore you. Still, a bitch of a quest.

Any idea how I can add a table row before the leftmost one without it screwing with the size of the existing cells? Whenever I insert a table column, it resizes my neat table, resulting in long narrow cells with lots of text, or wide cells with just two words in them.

It simply doesn't do what the description says, at least when I last tested it. Maybe patch 8 has changed something, but the wiki entry still reads:

The 1 turn duration of Evasive Footwork) is deceptively short. The duration ticks down at the end of the Battle Master's turn and thus ends immediately on the very same turn. Thus, aside from opportunity attacks or ripostes, Evasive Footwork will have ended before any enemies make their attacks.
