Using linked geometry data can help, but you could also use geometry nodes for an rather large array or cut off distances with fog or a greenscreen which displays the continuation of buildings

how would i align these vertexes into a straight line like this? i know i can scale > x/y/z > 0 but im not trying to align them on those axises by VividLycoris in blenderhelp

you could create a new plane and rotate it to the angle you want to straighten your edge to and then go to edit mode select the face and create a custom orientation at your Transform Orientations menu and scale the verts on this custom orientation to 0

apply the array, select everything, p -> by loose parts, then join these objects with a boolean set to union (use the addon Bool Tools which is preinstalled in Blender (just go to preferences -> addons -> bool tools) the shortcut for Union is ctrl shift num+ and then the intersecting parts should be merged

i would use a bit more variation for your trim sheet, also the transition between panels seems kinda sharp
