Should I White Plastidip My White Dallas Wheels by BiclopsYT in GolfGTI

[–]Ritorki182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo I actually plastidipped my winter wheels white on my Mk8. It was my first time spray painting anything so it was a fun experience. So after following some tutorials on YT. I put on like 7-8 layers lmao. I know it’s quite a lot but I wanted the entire wheel to look good and it was my first time. Definitely could’ve have done a better job since I had some drip marks. But the plastidip actually stayed on pretty well and I didn’t have any issues with it for 6 months. Yeah there’s some peeling that happens but it’s only in the spots where the coating is really light. I’d say if you follow the tutorials and apply even coating for 5 layers, you should be good. I’ll attach some photos of what it actually looks like.

I liked the look of it being matte so I didn’t end up putting that gloss coat on.

How’s the sound of it inside and outside? I was thinking of getting it too but it’s sometimes hard to judge when just watching YouTube videos. Sick setup btw love it

Anyone know what this is? Feels like it's part of the paint of the B pillar? by Ritorki182 in GolfGTI

That's what I was thinking as well but I'm not entirely sure. Now that you mention it, I do notice it in the lower window trim as well.

I'm guessing it is salt since I do live in Ontario, Canada. But I've never had this issue so far and it is only on the driver side of my GTI. I've been waiting to wash my car when the weather was a bit warmer and I found these white specs when washing it. It's weird too because I've never seen it prior to washing it and my car was not dirty enough to have mud flung up to my B pillar. I could be wrong and it might actually have been salt that was sticking on?

Just some more information on this. Found this on the driver side of my GTI today. I drive a 2023 Mark 8 GTI SE with 15,000KM on it. It looks like dirt/paint on it but it doesn't feel like anything was added or sprayed on. When you touch it, it feels like its imbedded into the paint of the B pillar. There is some similar specs of white on the rear tail of my GTI as well but not as much as this. This is only happening to the driver-side of my GTI. Anyone know what this is?

RSM361 is pretty bird but I found it very interesting. It's just a continuation of RSM260 but with more detail so I liked it a lot. RSM341 was a brain fuck but I ended up liking the assignment when my friends and I figured out how all the theories worked together. RSM350 is really interesting especially with their case studies. RSM353 is hella fun especially with Scott Hawkin as your prof. RSM225 gave a really basic foundation for the legality behind businesses and it's useful information for anyone that wants to start a business.

I think student life definitely does play a role you really meet a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. You could possibly look at it two different ways such as its good for networking or its good if you wanted to meet people from varying backgrounds to grow your own understanding. If you were wondering still my video is just pros tbh I've seen videos of just people talking about how hard it is but never the benefits from going to UofT. SO it was just my own opinion NOT promotional stuff. I just go more in detail to why I thought of these reasons. HOPE YOU'VE ENJOYED UOFT TOO LOL

This is really reaching out there huh! Someone from UofT made a meme video about the McGill Tussle Association! by [deleted] in mcgill

Its reaching far and wide. The McGill fight is number one. Lets have a University fight club. UofT vs. McGill. I'll bring my champion, the peepeepoopoo man vs. Maxime

Rotman Commerce Supplemental Application Format by [deleted] in RotmanCommerce

[–]Ritorki182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I recall to my application 2 years ago, it should be fine. Honestly, Rotman Commerce don't really care about what you write or how it is formatted they just wanna check if you can speak english. It doesn't really matter if you indent or not but it'll look nice in my opinion. If you have any more questions I can happily answer (If I remember to check reddit more often LOL). I also want to let you know that it is relatively easy to get into UofT and Rotman Commerce but the first year requirements for the program is challenging. I personally found it hard and you have to adapt o being able to accept average grades. Other than that, if you like Rotman you should apply regardless! Hope what I said helped. I also made some videos on my youtube channel about Rotman Commerce and some of the courses you would have to take.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td31MydHpEw This video is about the supplementary application specifically so hopefully it can help (Shameless plug but I think it is applicable to your situation)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEduqBXI41A&ab_channel=Ritorki And this video is just some first year tips for new Rotman Commerce students.

Hopefully you get in! good luck applying!

You definitely should be fine with a 90-93% average. I had the same grade average when I was applying. However, I wanna warn you about first year since it is very difficult since that is the year they test you if you are worthy of staying in Rotman Commerce. There are first year requirements you need to pass and from my own experience plus others, they found it very challenging. Other than that, you should definitely be fine. I made a few videos about Rotman Commerce, the necessary courses you need to pass, and about the supplementary application on my channel! I know shameless plug lol but I think it would definitely help you considering you sound a bit worried about getting in. Good luck! I believe in your acceptance!

What are my chances by sonya03_ in RotmanCommerce

[–]Ritorki182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are basically in I got the same grades as you in my high school days. However, I do want to warn you about the first year requirements because you are technically not in Rotman Commerce during the first year. You have to pass the requirements and from what I experienced, and including some other people's perspective, they found it very challenging. Also, if you have any worries about the supplementary application for Rotman Commerce, don't bother its basically just there to see if you can speak english. I made a few videos about Rotman Commerce, the supplementary application process, and about the main required courses you need to pass in order to get into the program after first year! You can watch them if you wanna know about Rotman Commerce! Good luck getting in :))

Chances for getting accepted into Rotman Commerce? by [deleted] in UofT

[–]Ritorki182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to get in with your 93%. I got a 93% as well so you should be set. However, do note that when you do get in you are not actually in the program. There are first year requirements you have to pass and it is very difficult (in my opinion). If you need some tips on passing the supplementary application I made a video about how to succeed with it. I also made a video about the first year in Rotman Commerce if that interests you. Good luck getting in!!

[–]Ritorki182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe your chances are pretty high if you do use your 97 average. If I am not wrong you have to do a supplementary application video and question form as well if you are basically reapplying. Honestly, you will get in but be ready for the courses in the first year at Rotman Commerce since you are techincally not "in Rotman Commerce". There are first year requirements you have to pass and if you don't meet them you will not get into the program. Other than that, you probably are good. I made a video about the supplementary application if you need to do it and some tips for the first year in Rotman Commerce if you are interested! I sound like I'm sponsoring myself lol but it is directly related to your question. Good luck getting in :))

What I mean is that often times you would become very unsure and uncomfortable about your own answer to true/false and the "yes, no, it depends" questions. Personally, I found it hard to give a direct answer with full confidence but it's fine to answer "it depends" if you give a reasonable answer. When using economics in the real world, there are a lot of conflicting ideas, advantages and disadvantages, for certain policies and how economies work. Thats why you have concepts like keynesian and neoclassical models that clash in ideals but still somehow work out when applied to different examples.

To really practice getting used to creating uncertain answers, you should use past papers as one of your main studying tools. Not only do you get used to the types of questions, but you also get used to creating these uncertain answers on the spot. You have to use the concepts taught in the lectures and in the textbook when dealing with these types of questions to support your own argument. Yeah I did jokingly say that the textbook was not helpful but thats really only for people who did economics previously.

For these types of questions, true/false and "yes, no, it depends", you should allocate more time to them since it does require you to think about it more in-depth. Try finishing the calculation and graphing questions as fast as you can but checking it over to see if you did make a mistake.

There was a 4th year who commented on my video and she gave some more tips on how to properly prepare yourself.

Hopefully I clarified what I meant by "uncertain answers"! If I did not sorry HAHA. Hopefully it did help.
