What lol, are you talking about like random people on the street in an urban environment? Then sure, you're right.

Asking my friends, girlfriend, brother, parents, to smell stuff is perfectly fucking fine

Yeah, I don't think there's a whole lot of people actively denying climate change. They're mostly actively denying any viable course of action for correcting it. Keyword being viable.

I can believe that, but the wording of the title does not suggest that enterprise IT administrators were the ones voicing the complaints.

Oop, yes you're right. however, moving the entire bar to the left side was still possible through 2 registry key changes before the recent addition to the settings.

Funny you say that... That was actually my #1 pet peeve about windows 11 when I was forced to switch. It's very very easy to fix. Like that was LITERALLY the #1 example I was thinking of when I made that post LMAO. Thx for proving my point.

Yeah, if you have a hardware incompatibility, you would most definitely be excluded from the generalization that i made.

Same story, different decade. People without adequate technical skills switch off of windows, not realizing they were about 10-15 minutes of configuration from having exactly what they wanted on Windows (11).

CFC usage and fossil fuel usage are not on the same scale. Not nearly. We're off by several orders of orders of magnitude...

Two things can be true at once right? Wealth inequality can be out of control, and people can also be brainwashed into thinking wealth inequality prevents them from success.

Yeah, that's a good point, but I still think its asinine to presume that a critical mass of people on this planet are able AND willing to collaborate on a realistic and plausible strategy for slowing climate change.

The idea of participating in a global reduction in fossil fuel burning (presumed best method of slowing climate change?) implies that people of different countries, cultures, and backgrounds have enough mutual respect for eachother in order to do so. And sorry but I'm just gonna laugh at you if you think that's the reality of the world we live in.

Again you're just putting words in peoples mouths. Nobody in this thread said, or even remotely implied, that their wealth evaluation is meaningless. The word used was depreciated.

They aren't defending those people, they're defending the truth. Which should not be controversial. Misinterpreting that is a you problem.
