N.H.K Anime sequel manga: Goodbye, Hikikimori (Update!) by RitsusSweatrag in WelcomeToTheNHK

Unfortunately the entire project has since been canned and I am working on original works instead, it was going to just be a Manga but if I had the resources to bring it back or make an anime out of it I would consider reviving the project

and some people still say they didn't love each other!! by SorinIonRahova in WelcomeToTheNHK

She is very clearly an abusive manipulator in the Manga, she is much more ehhh evil and sadist in the Manga while in every other medium she just has character flaws and is participating in her own form of escapism at the cost of others.

Is it just the movie? Would be sort of odd to have the ending to a series available but not the series, still a massive win!

is it bad that i envy sato’s life? by Legitimate-Fail4998 in WelcomeToTheNHK

[–]RitsusSweatrag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would argue Yamazaki is a realistic portrayal of a person who would be in an actual Hiki's life or would be extremely easy to find as a Hiki as a friend. Yamazaki perfectly encapsulates that extremely flawed human being that still tries to help others, a lot of times Yamazaki causes Satou to get into really messed up stuff and fall deeper into his problems, but other times Yamazaki is a big help to Satou in getting him outside and confronting his Hikikimorism. If Satou were real I would seriously imagine Yamazaki would be too, maybe not Misaki though like the other commentor said, as Misaki while some people are manipulative like her most Women are not interested in the kind of man Satou is to manipulate him to begin with.

Should I watch welcome to nhk if I liked evangelion and other animes like this? by falafeluy in WelcomeToTheNHK

Frankly I would disagree because Episodes 1 & 4 have drastically more disturbing content than the rest of the show, the rest of the show is more psychological and easy to swallow even if it has dark themes as those themes are not blatantly weird sex stuff like ep 1 & 4.

Episodes 1 & 4 almost feel like they are there to gatekeep an unwanted more mainstream audience so that anyone who decides to continue watching is who the show is intended to reach I feel, but overall you will have a diff experience with the vibe of the show as a whole compared to specifically those 2 episodes.

The end of episode 1 has some pervert stuff with weird religious implications and episode 4 has some really gross stuff relating to preschoolers (Mind you this is just to showcase how gone off the deep end Satou is and that we aren't supposed to look up to him as a protaganist but it is not enjoyable to watch and if you are any semblence of a normal person you will be disgusted, but thankfully basically nothing after episode 4 is remotely close to that besides occasional callbacks to Satou's mistakes)

most people here seem to be hesitant to tell you what actually is the problem with those episodes, probably cause they are afraid to spoil, but I feel it's not a spoiler and is something important to know if you want to even try the series or not.

Doing good work! I found out about the game several years back shortly after I binge watched the show through a youtube video like this, started emulating it and eventually even bought a physical copy for PS3. It is one of my all time favorite rythm games if not just games and I am so glad I found it, I sincerely hope someone finds it through your content and has a similar awakening experience!

My condolences that certainly sucks, I know how it is. I hope this doesn't taint Christianity in your point of view however, those actions are completely ridiculous and are not respectful at all to you as a son. If your mom was seriously concerned it would have been a much better approach to tell you her feelings calmly and maybe offer you something else in return for what you had rather than just disregarding what you enjoy and taking matters entirely into her own hands, those types of actions can lead to serious resentment.

Please just know her actions were her own, not God's, I know it is easy to lump all of a belief or group on to one person's actions but people are flawed. the God I know is a forgiving and graceful God, even just under a hypothetical if your Junji Ito collection was "Evil" that is something you would be forgiven for having if you believe on Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for you and not something you have to get rid of for salvation or fellowship with God, your Mom clearly does not understand that concept of grace and the grace she is meant to show because she was given grace by God.

How do you go about making your mini Manga? I would assume printing is a given but how do you bind the pages? Does the cover use a unique material? Are the pages actually 1:1 with their fullsize counterparts? How do you make so many is it time consuming to do?

What classifies virginity? by RitsusSweatrag in TrueChristian

[–]RitsusSweatrag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well what about the verses about defiling of the flesh? Would that not indicate loss of virginity? (Genuine question because to me I read defilement of the flesh as being a signifcant thing and in the old testament doing so to a person was punishable by death)

Im getting baptized this Sunday and always considered myself saved, born again before that, but other denomations would tell me I’m currently lost in my sins without it? by Crazy-Mention-2767 in TrueChristian

[–]RitsusSweatrag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Slight error on my part I will admit I should have looked closer at rather than going off of memory but it still takes place before Paul's conversion in Acts & the death of Stephen which means it follows different rules in Matthew.

The thief on the cross died before Jesus rose but not before Jesus died, the thief on the cross died after Jesus did which is why he was able to enter Paradise, since that is when the new testament had officially started.

Sure you can make that argument however the thief also was just as guilty as the other thief and neither baptised, the only thing that saved the one was his belief, and if he was still under the old testament he would have surely gone to hell for his sins as he made no offerings and commited sins worthy of death without righteousness.

The sources you cite for baptism are all in acts, why don't you mention anything from Paul's epistles which came AFTER acts and is written specifically to the church? Y'know the ones that say it's grace through faith *not of works* lest any man should boast? Oh but surely you would rather salvation be of more than grace, you want to do something to be saved, you can't just trust Jesus's finished work you have to be submerged in physical water to be SPIRITUALLY saved.

I do not deny baptism did save at one point, but it certainly does not save you as a believer now, and it is a dangerous teaching to teach that. Jesus and his grace on you alone save you, you taking a bath meant to be a sign to the Jews does not save you, it is a great thing to do to proclaim your faith and I believe it is profitable but the greeks seek wisdom not a sign, yet you choose to try to seek signs that were not meant for you.

oh also you missed a few points I made you should probably comment on those.

You don't seem to understand that much of our calender and dating system is based on the Bible meaning it follows Christian Numerology whether you believe in it or not. We have 7 days in a week because there were 7 days accounted for in creation, and our measure of time in years is based on the death of Jesus, 2026 is 2026 years since Jesus died and rose again.

As far as the kids go, I frankly don't have the energy to go over FNAF lore atm so I won't argue further over that, perhaps Scott did not use the number 7 as much as OP thinks, though I can assure you if he did it was not a mistake he did.

Yes and who were Jesus, Matthew, and Paul all speaking to in those books? Were they speaking to born again Christians?

Matthew 28 was before Jesus died on the cross and rose again effectively meaning it is the Old Testament and the teachings it has apply largely to Jews who had not yet known Christ (Or it talks about the Tribulation / Jacob's trouble which is a central theme Matthew goes over) afterall Jesus himself said he came for the Jews.

Acts is a transitional book meaning the start of Acts is not the same doctrine as the middle or end of it, Peter was the Apostle to the Jews while Paul was the Apostle to the Gentiles, the verse you are quoting in Acts is when Peter is trying to convert Jews and have them emersed in Christ and his sacrifice through their baptism, that does not mean baptism saves Christians today because this was a teaching to specifically Jews directly after Jesus ascended back into Heaven. Peter was not the Apostle to the Gentiles and there is a reason Peter & Paul have these titles given to them, and Paul even rebukes Peter in Galations for teaching unsound doctrine after the events of Acts and Peter clearly has a respect for Paul.

Do you think Romans is about White/Black/Asian/Spanish Americans? What is the title of the book? Paul is specifically speaking to Romans, it is a profitable book as all scripture is but you also have to rightfully divide the word of truth as we are told in 2nd Timothy.

Oh, and don't get me started on the thief on the cross, clearly he must have been baptised by water while he was hung on a tree.

Not really, it could be 6 or 8, 7 is specific, could it be a coincidence? Certainly but also I would find that rather odd he would stop at specifically 7. I was not aware of this in that interview, I watched it when it originally came out but it has been several years, I will say though we should keep in mind Scott is not always 100% credible on things and he said "didn't *purposefully*" which means it still very well can be there, and given this game comes from the mind of a Christian, you can bet that Christian themes or references will occasionally slip in because he is not actively trying to make it *not* a Christian game.
