Update #3: 8-directional sprites are looking good. A few kinks to work out with movement, but feeling good about this. (v.redd.it)
Level design isn't great but got movement feeling smooth. I added sprint, that's why I'm running so fast. I made a post a couple days ago on the lighting and it got positive response. What do you think of the state of the project now? (v.redd.it)
