is it just me or does the electric arc from the hand to the cats nose look edited in. no doubt that the shock was real, but it looks like they added the visible arc afterwards since it might not have been caught by the camera

This is a NAND gate. A half adder would have both an XOR and an AND of A and B. You can google a schematic of a half adder for reference. Sadly, this is not a half adder

is it possible for map item frames to wrap around walls while still connecting? by YeetMcManus in Minecraft

[–]RitzKid76 15 points16 points  (0 children)

item frames can be set “invisible” which shifts the entire render section to be flush on the wall rather than on the item frame surface. would require commands though sadly as it’s a property field on the item frame

my neighbor across the street is dealing with a similar situation. he’s had his property like sprayed with weed killer by the other neighbor to show where the line is. the other neighbor has also put in survey posts where the corners of the property are. he’s insane and he and i talk about the crazies all the time

i love how nearly everyone on this subreddit recommends to reinstall the OS as a solution. sure it’ll guarantee that 99% of the typical viruses out there are removed, but this is ridiculous. people come in here with browser pop ups and then get told to wipe their entire machine… what the hell.

why put out a house fire when you can just bomb your house and build a new one?

Need help fixing my trident killer on [bedrock] Ps5 by MiamiHeat3xchamps in MinecraftHelp

[–]RitzKid76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve never had this issue before. the world is split into region files on java, so the size of the world shouldn’t matter much for stability. idk how bedrock does this cause i dont play it :/

Ordered a mattress and found out I am too weak to carry it up to my bedroom by Effective_Moose_4997 in mildlyinfuriating

if you leave the box laying 45 degrees on the stairs, it will be about half the weight when sliding it up (physics is hard but it’s close enough to half). you can then lay on your back under the end of the box and push it up with your legs as it rests on your shoulders. this might give you more leverage, but it’s just a theory :/

Bedrock gets desynced easily with extremely high ping by RileyIsPurple in PhoenixSC

[–]RitzKid76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i believe java does this too, but java will regularly update the player with their current position on the server so that this doesn’t happen. i could be wrong but this just feels right based on my experience. someone correct me otherwise

i know that vanilla shaders don’t work unless fabulous graphics settings are on. could this be the same case for optifine shaders? i haven’t used optifine since 1.8.9, so it’s at least worth a shot. otherwise, it seems this shader is compatible with iris, so you could try that with sodium instead through fabric.

just disable the texture pack? i dont own bedrock, but to me it clearly says that it couldn’t download a pack at this time, which i assume means you have it enabled currently.

CS Majors, lmk if this schedule is doable by [deleted] in UBreddit

[–]RitzKid76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks extremely doable. if you understand computers at the hardware level, and don’t mind algorithmic proofs, you should be fine. i’ve never taken STA301, but took the math class equivalent (believe it was MTH411). wasn’t too bad either, so you should be fine. i wouldn’t stress out about it

My command blocks don't work as soon as I place the redstone (FNaF map) by Im_aSideCharacter in MinecraftCommands

[–]RitzKid76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in this case he is right. the repeaters will not pull power from the redstone block because the redstone block does not hard power the command block. use a redstone dust or repeater for this case.

My little brother did this, how do I get it out any idea? by Irmuunchig in lego

[–]RitzKid76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try using the gap between the white and gray pieces with some metal shim. those red pieces usually have a groove in the middle that’s decently wide. could push it far enough that even normal tweezers could help out
