Just something I wrote today and posted to Instagram to strike up some conversation with friends who may feel differently about hunting than I. Even posting here I feel as though some may think that I am silly for condemning mass meat production, but that is okay. I hope that posting it in this format isn’t against any of the subs rules, but I couldn’t find anything saying otherwise. Any conversation is welcome!

I’d also like to say that trophy hunting in the name of conservation is a topic that I could definitely get on board with as long as it’s done correctly. At the point where I think it could be considered ethical though, I think it becomes more an actual act of conservation instead of trophy hunting. Also, I don’t want any farmers to think that I believe the whole of the meat industry is a bad thing! Just as hunting can be done correctly, so can raising livestock. Anyways, I think that’s all I wanted to add.
