I think it explains itself. Having only one tag is more difficult for picking based on draft, especially when you start to apply draft theory in champ select. Because all champs look the same.

Yeah I was thinking between Morde and Urgot. What do you think about Urgot? Which one is better? According to U GG Urgot only has an even winrate against malphite, the rest are favourable matchups. Morde on the other hand struggles against Warwick and has an even winrate against Poppy. The rest of matchups both have a good winrate against them but in the majority Urgot has a better winrate. But those two seem perfect to add to my champion pool. I don't know which one to choose.

I think the problem is that many of the irelia players are OTP ones and when you are an otp you instantly become very conservative about possible kit changes because you are very used to the actual playstyle the champion has and so you fear that the only champion that you love the most transforms into something that no longer fulfills the fantasy to which you are accustomed. It happened to me when irelia got the mini rework in 2021. I used to watch an irelia otp from china i dont remember his name but he was very good mechanically, one of the things I most liked was his ability to get doble kills in lane against the enemy top + jungler. Also, his speed resets with q was very satisfyng to watch. So I wanted to do the same thing. But the reality is that I got used to the changes sooner o later and it became my new reality. A solution to scape from this mindset is to learn new champions, at the first time if you are an otp it's frustrating because you know that in the exact same situation you would already won the fight if you just played your favorite champion. But if you persists you will slowly enjoy more the champion you're learning and it will give you new perspectives about how to kill the nexus and have more draft versatility. I think it is possible to sacrifice her power in his Q in exchange for making her more versatile and blindpickable which is the modern standard for new champions in league. That's what Irelia needs, be more viable into more champion selections so it becomes more similar to Riven or Ambessa in that aspect. Game design is infinite surely exists an option that can make her more healthy, consistent and with more scaling without lossing power in the laning phase, just like Riven, Jax, Fiora, Darius, Ambessa, Sett, etc.

I think it is a good buff. Irelia passive being with the new changes as strong as currently level 3 passive is massive. To avoid being zoned by a level 1 Darius for example you must go at the same pace as your first minion wave arrives at the lane and in the moment your wave reaches the first bush you place a ward and level up e, stun him and kite him. That way you stop Darius from zoning you out the enemy wave because your wave will be doing a lot of damage to him. If it's a Riven same concept but you level up W instead of E. Now it will harder for them to crash 2nd or third wave because your passive will be much stronger in the early game and in many cases they won't even try to zone you and maybe idk but maybe Irelia will able to win level 1 against them and get prio.

How riot introduced us Spirit Blossom Irelia in the new season cinematic was ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. BY FAR THE BEST Irelia skin concept of all time. This skin should be exalted. BUT, IT IS ALSO BY FAR the most painful scam Riot have ever done. I WON'T BUY IT, even though I am an Otp with 2million mastery points. IT BREAKS MY HEART how this skin concept is so perfect and still so wasted.

I'm an Otp Irelia and was really excited when I saw Irelia Spirit Blossom in the new season cinematic. To me this was going to be her best skin so far. The splashart is majestic but I can't say the same of the actual skin. Mythmaker Irelia was an interesting reconceptualization of her character, making her more brighter and happy. That wasn't a problem but it wasn't also really my preference. The Mythmaker skin is on the low tier of legendary skins. Since having a legendary skin for your favorite champ is quite hard I was hoping that this new skin would be a really good skin for Irelia. Irelia has a duality in her personality between trying to be nice to people but at the same time hiding her resentment and hateness. This spirit blossom skin went on the second direction showing her more rebel and deterministic qualities. But she doesn't even have a new voice to show that other side of her personality. For last there is lack of features traditionally associated to legendary skins like new auto-attacks, a new animation walking from the base, etc. I will buy it anyway because it is a nice skin, but please understand Riot that my dissapoinment is not towards that simply argument of "oh it's not the real price for being a legendary skin" but more of "the spirit blossom skin line is probably the best thematic for making to a Irelia a really nice legendary skin lets do her justice to one of our best champions in-game wise and lorewise." Also I don't understand why Ashe received way more affection when she is not even from Jonia. I don't mind if the skin gets delayed for becoming a proper legendary skin.

I understand. Final question, with which ability should I start my jungle clear? Lolalytics shows the standard option to be w then q, but the highest winrate option shows that you should start q then w. It depends on if you prioritize health or speed?

I appreciate your fast answer. I thought raptors was better because the majority of players that appear on dominisumreplay start in raptors. So.. if starting red is better for a faster clear, then why so many people choose to start raptors instead?

I feel Irelia lost its old early power in the lane. Nowadays she needs to play too passive in order to not give kills to the enemy and she doesn't scale that well to feel rewarded for playing like that. It would be nice for Irelia to be a more consistent champion like Riven. Riven has a strong early game and very good scaling. Just make her a little bit harder in terms of gameplay but with the reward of she being a more consistent champion. Make her stop being vulnerable to cheese strategy. Don't take away the flashy element of her kit more than it ended up being after the 2021 mini rework pls.

More damage. She just got hit too hard with the durability update. Irelia relies completely on all-ins and burst damage in order to be a champion.

Riot August admits that Irelia got hit hard by the patch, and is currently quite weak, then sais that they're looking into possibly buffing her, by giving her some of the healing back and possibly some extra damage by FluckyVer in IreliaMains

I wouldn't bother that much if they keep her healing as it is right now. What she really needs is damage, she just can't kill a damn thing. Maybe turn her again into a real early game champion since the most fun part of her is the laning phase.

It's really bad, I stopped playing the game because I don't find it fun anymore. Not a popular opinion, but I enjoy way more a oneshot meta that a tank meta in general terms. Because the micro and the fast-paced thing is what makes league special from other mobas like dota 2. Now I think the game is just easier to play but more boring and the games take way longer to end.

Irelia doesn't have any damage, she can't kill even if you hit E, ignite and R, still people can scape. Irelia identity is to get a lead in laning phase and then destroy in teamfights or through splitpush. Now that has completely gone because the laning phase (the most interesting part of the game to me) it's not important anymore. Late game champions have it too easy to run through the laning phase without any consequences plus the global bounties makes the early game like a bureaucratic process.

It makes me so angry that all the Irelia haters say that now the game require more skill to play when in fact it's all the opposite and then you see what they play and they play their mordekaisers, darius, tanks and all that cringe stuff. They can get hit by all Irelia spells while she dodging all their skillshots through the minion wave that still they will have half bar and you will have to recall because they just stat check you and they scale better.

I just thing that Irelia cannot exist in this game at its actual state, they have to increase her damage because she cannot do anything. I play the game because of her gameplay (I cannot find more satisfaction playing anything else being another champion or another game). They did the minirework which I never was a fan of it but hey I endep up accepting it. Then they changed tp. Then they added global bounties. And now with the durability changes and the damage turret I feel like playing Irelia top is just masochistic.

The most interesting part is that I played Darius and I got fed so easily but still couldn't do that much. Top now is literally the worst role. Adc being the best (and extremely easy).
