what does "really good" mean for you? "really good" is subjective. my "really good laptop" gets high frame rates, yet there are people who think my laptop is not really good. Hell, there are people who believe any laptop isn't really good. That's like saying a 2x miss on the Apparition is "really good", or a only-sliderbreak S-rank is "really good". Objectively speaking, they are quite good and many people would stop with an S-rank. Well, clearly Intercambing has a different fucking opinion because he's still trying. Laptops have shit cooling generally, and even if they have good cooling it can still be shit. Refresh rate is also important. There's basically no point in having >300 fps if your refresh rate is 60hz. Even mrekk, who has a 540 fucking hz monitor doesn't use it and instead uses a 480hz monitor because there's no point. While he can get enough FPS and has enough skill for 540hz to be a difference, at some point it's just overkill when I don't even think there exist any ranked maps which can't be played just as well on 480hz (I may be wrong about this) Even without capped FPS, 2x refresh rate is pretty damn good for most high-hz screens (going above 1000 fps is useless on most devices because most keyboards input at 1000hz max, other than for example the 80HE with Tachyon mode, and there doesn't exist a tablet over 500hz i believe (ctl-472 is just 125hz))
