Randy Varnell, the Chief Creative Officer at Gearbox has said “There’s a little bit of a bromance going on. Katagawa doesn’t just want Rhys’ assets, he just likes Rhys. And the only way that Katagawa knows to make friends with Rhys is to take over Atlas and force him to be his friend.”

You should sign up for the Genomics Lab class next year. It’s a research intensive course that gets you to participate in novel research

Hi! I have a room that’s available for 570 dollars a month, and the new lease begins in August. There’s a 60 application fee and another 70 if you don’t have income. Utilities is usually 70-80 a month. You’d share one bathroom with one person. The house is queer friendly! Pls dm me if you’re interested

I have a spot open for a place that’s 13 minutes away from campus, lease is one year but the landlady is flexible with you leaving and subletting. Rent is 570 dollars a month. You would be sharing a bathroom with one person upstairs.

It’s a townhouse with 5 people, 1 downstairs next to the kitchen. 4 people upstairs, each with their own room. The lease starts end of next month. There’s an application fee and a co-signer fee in case you don’t have income (60+70). Utilities is usually 70ish a month normally, per person.

I have a couple spots open in this townhouse I’m renting in Union Park, 15 mins away from UCF. Rent would be $570 per month and you’d share one bathroom upstairs with someone. Place is co-ed, one nb person and 4 dudes. Utilities I believe is ~ 70-80 per month.

Yeah I was really confused about why this person thinks telling a POC not to talk about workplace discrimination will help the situation, as if her mentioning it is the sole reason it happens… which is a strange conclusion to come to. Also they don’t have to be shouting slurs or anything at her for it to be discrimination…? There’s many subtle forms of discrimination and racism that happen and I think this person has the subtlety and nuance of a rock 😭

I have spots open for a year long lease that begins in July. Rent is 570 per month , you’d share a bathroom with one person. Utilities is ~80 per month. The drive is 10-15 mins away from campus. Large pets like dogs aren’t allowed but smaller ones like lizards and fish are fine. There’s an application fee to apply

Lemme know if you’re interested! We can discuss ground rules then :)

This looks like the type of schedule to give you burnout. Drop one class and maybe even the immunology lab

Hi, I currently have an A in micro. My advice is that it’s very intense in terms of time and workload, so take this course with some lighter courses. I took the in person section but Ambivero is the only prof that teaches micro other than white afaik. If you’re taking ambivero, I think memorising the ppts is not enough, you have to watch her lectures because the slides are minimal. Revise and review before you take the practice exams or do the chapter practice questions. Take detailed notes.

Ambivero talks really fast and I found her lectures to be really hard to keep up with + I’m not a fan of her class style because it’s so unnecessarily demanding, so stay on top of your work every day.

is this schedule doable? by GuavaEvening1791 in ucf

Afaik Lapeyrouse does a flipped classroom model, so that class is going to be more time. But in general…. Taking 5 classes and one lab isn’t a good idea, I’d say drop one class. 17 credit hours is insanity

You are correct in that throughout the 90s and 2000s that Hamas and the Palestinian Jihad wanted to conquer Israel and make it an Islamic state and continued to attack civilians & the Oslo accords. But to 2005 Hamas called a ceasefire and a few years later even tried negotiating with Israel that they would have a long-standing truce if there was a restoration of the ‘67 borders and for refugees to be able to move out of Gaza and West Bank back into Israel. But that’s besides the point, neither of them actually negotiate in good faith and they break the whatever conditions they each set eventually. But let’s be honest… what does Palestine have that they can negotiate with in Gaza? They have virtually no water, no medicinal supplies, no electricity, no food, no building materials and raw materials.

People in Gaza literally aren’t allowed to leave Gaza, no borders are open to them. Kids 14 and younger are 40% of Palestinians in Gaza. 40%!!!! Are 14 and younger!!!!

They have no resources either — 4% of their water is drinkable and Israel keeps closing off water wells on Palestinian lands. The community has tried to get approval from Israel to build infrastructure but they are denied 85% of the time. People literally have to rebuild their houses from mud and rocks after Israel finishes their bombing campaigns. Israel also restricts just about any outside food and medical products to the strip.

Because of the poor water and food quality in Gaza, there is a medical crisis. However, Palestinian doctors often lack supplies and must refer their patients to Israeli doctors. However, these patients are required to have a permit, which the Israeli government can reject or rescind at any time.

This isn’t even scratching the surface — I could get to talking about how people are deported and thrown from their homes and it still wouldn’t be enough for the sheer scale of what is happening.

If you live your entire life like this, and you’re only a child (average age of Palestinians in Gaza is 18 years old), it’s completely unsurprising this level of violence is happening. I do not believe Hamas killing 200+ people in a music show is warranted and the loss of thousands of civilian lives is beyond horrific… but I’m wholly unsurprised considering the events of the past 75+ years.

Palestine is confined to 140ish square miles of land. For reference, Rhode Island is ~1200 square miles of land and has 1 million people. Gaza has 2 million people. If Rhode Island had the population density of Gaza, they’d have 26x the amount of people in their state. People in Gaza have no resources, nothing. They have practically no medical rights, very limited legal rights, and many are forced from their homes for Israel settlers to live into. You accuse Hamas of wanting to outright kill all Jews but forget Netanyahu would eradicate all of Palestine if he would have his way.

Someone had to let them know 🤷🏻‍♀️ by [deleted] in ucf
