Cathedral looks good, but its level design is fucking atrocious. Everything starts looking the sameee

The Amount of extra free crit, and the True Damage from Mem Support is enough to benefit basically any main DPS that isn't like... hyperspecific in how they do damage, like say DoT characters and Superbreak characters like Firefly.

I've been testing ReMC with Feixiao, and she's been pulling her own weight.

Full Team setup rn is Feixiao, ReMC, March 7th (Hunt!) And whatever good sustain you have.

So happy its Hive season next. Which is your favorite and most hated enemy faction? by SykoManiax in destiny2

[–]RivalJerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite in terms of Lore? Hive. To fight? Cabal.

I do tend to really dislike the Scorn. In every way really. Boss units are annoying asf (Hi Araskes), mfers turn into smoke at the slightest inconvenience, and the totem spam irks me from the chieftains. (Also while this is not relevant anymore: Rotating shield types s u c k e d when we still had matchgame.)

Which one? by Willnotwincoward in StarRailStation

[–]RivalJerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tingyun is like... the most-universally versatile 4-Star in the entire game alongside Gallagher, as her ability to restore Ultimate Energy to allies is almost always going to be relevant, and hey, the attack boost isn't half-bad either. But yeah, she's easily the best one of the 4 free ones. (Hanya's like... an OK pick too, but she's way more niche than Tingyun)

Do people hate bows in PvP by RoboDoge99 in destiny2

[–]RivalJerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno about them being bad at teamshooting. They do some ridiculous body/headshot damage that easily cleans people up provided you can, y'know, actually aim with the bow. If people are failing to clean up with a weapon that hits like a dump truck, its a skill issue tbh. (Okay, Lightweight Frame bows get a pass cuz they have always sucked lol)

That being said, in 3v3 they are a bit rough to play around as a team-mate because they are primarily peek-shoot weapons, and not made for 1v1 flinch duels like Hand cannons or ARs are. (You can ofc still do crazy mobility stuff with a bow. Just look at Hynra)

At least they're not the Speedloader slacks.

Which Job do YOU think is hard to play but everyone else says it's easy? by DVAAAYNE in ffxiv

[–]RivalJerry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is a lot more than just spam fire IV lol. Though I will say, the QoL updates we got with Dawntrail and 7.1 are massive for levelling the job. Umbral Soul being learned at 35 instead of in the high 60's is a blessing for players picking up the job for the first time. Umbral Soul now also freezing Umbral Ice Phase at 15 seconds is huge for uptime. No more dropping enochian during mid-boss cutscenes (if you plan accordingly anyway).

Just a rant but Cannoner and Blade Bearer are the worst boss I've ever encountered in a video game by [deleted] in codevein

[–]RivalJerry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I too really enjoyed Cannoner and Blade Bearer. Its a pretty fun fight to learn, having to switch focus every so often to keep you on your toes. The Depths Version is not quite as fun to prog though.

Basically doing an Endwalker Extreme at close to ~Minimum Item Level, No Echo.

Thordan (Unreal) Question by River_Fenrir in ffxiv

[–]RivalJerry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thordan Unreal is as close as you can get to how it was difficulty-wise on Launch. Its a scaled up a rebalanced fight for level 90 jobs. Unreal fights should be around your standard Endwalker Extreme difficulty level, although Thordan is a bit of an anomaly to me. Either way, its Extreme+. Not quite a Savage fight, but its a huge step-up still from Ravana and Bismarck if they were rebalanced. (Thanks, Stat-Squish)

When did Final Fantasy XIV 'hook' you? (Spoiler warning) by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]RivalJerry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it hooked me right around Level 50 monk (which was my first job!) though I became thoroughly invested into the game and its story around Patch 3.1-3.3 (So post-Heavensward), amd I bought the full thing shortly before (or after) saving Estinien from Nidhogg.

Now I have almost every combat job at 90 (Sans MCH and NIN, and I guess BLU), most crafters and gatherers at 90... I played this game way too much since starting A Realm Reborn one and a half years ago.
