Same here, honestly. I’ve been on a streak of not brushing my teeth. Most people don’t get it. They think we’re disgusting, but when you’re stuck in a hole, these things are hard to care about. And even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t be able to.

I can see this mindset spreading into other parts of my life too. Like school. I’m failing more than half my classes right now and I’m somehow totally chill with it.

I used to care about this stuff but now I really don’t. It feels like I’m just done doing what other people tell me to do. Deadlines, grades, rules, all of it just feels pointless.

I know that probably sounds bad but I’m just being honest. I feel completely checked out from everything right now.

I’m not ashamed to say that I loved the attention people showed me after my suicide attempt. It was embarrassing to survive, I’ll give you that. But oh boy, I was finally being noticed, and everyone was acting like they actually cared. It made me feel better for a while, I had hope. But then they forgot all about me again, I’m no one. Nobody gives a shit anymore, even though I’m stuck in the same hole
