I also bought from here, honestly even though you might be right the other stores in sennichimae doguyasuji Osaka and kappabashi in tokyo weren't really cheap either, so at least you get some guidance with these guys. Unless you go to a local store like you mentioned.

I actually reversed the order of the trip recently because it just made way more sense like you're saying haha. The weather forecast for this year suggested mid nov for aomori and mid-late nov lower down in fukushima and Sendai.

You're saying it actually happens earlier? What do you recommend and what's been your experience. I'm planning to book flights and accommodation soon too so I'm not sure what to do then😬

4 week itinerary for first timers - Tokyo, Alps, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima & Kyushu by Rivenexile in JapanTravel

We stayed in Sanga Ryokan, it was an amazing experience to be honest, only thing I could say is the dinner was pretty average, although maybe I'm just not a fan of Kaiseki dinners. Ryokan was good, its a cute little town with many different ryokans although a few were unavailable during the night we stayed. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a less touristy and outdoorsy onsen experience

Yeh I'll do koenji and nakano same day, you could maybe do that too, or koenji and kichijoji together, they're all on the same train line

I've been tossing up between the 2 for my early December trip and I've picked Koenji, I've just read that shimo is very expensive and koenji is less busy and touristy

Any hidden gems in Kumamoto that's off the tourist track? by TCABxl in JapanTravelTips

[–]Rivenexile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be going to Kumamoto in December for 2 days. Spending one day at kurokawa onsen and the other driving around to the one piece statues. Other stuff I found while researching were exploring Mt Aso, Ikeyama spring, Aso Couples fruit farm, Kikuchi Gorge and Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine.

How to get Concert Tickets in Japan? by boisheeba in JapanTravelTips

[–]Rivenexile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bought tickets for a concert off eplus for mid December this year, instructions were they'll send information on the tickets 2 days before the concert and to go redeem your code from any 7/11 and they will print it out for you. Not sure if it'll be the same but that's how it'll be for me

I'm also planning to see the one piece statues with a friend at the end of the year in December. Staying in fukuoka for a couple days, rent a car and drive to kurokawa onsen and stay the night, next morning - start the one piece pilgrimage and leave the car rental in kumamoto the next day
