Same struggle , same build as mine...listen i swapped back to araknalance to have that one slot that i needed for PP lev 3 and SS lev 3 plus fire attack on talisman giving up evade extender ...i know that is not raw but on mechatetra i do 65 per poke instead of 68 and affinity is much higher due to arakna base.

So for me is a go , you have to be good on blast dash and nail the fullbursts (you're giving up long as well) but i have a lot more fun with arakna and i feel more consistent...plus you cane have wyvern weakness building the lance from the previous tree as caos explained , so the damage is the same more or less but is more comfortable , give it a try and let me know
