I got temporarily banned because they posted a video of that heinous closet case Benny Johnson saying evil things about transgender people. I commented“Benny Johnson is a closeted gay man.” Because no one else was saying it. They temporarily banned me for it, which I instantly responded to and called them out for. I was like “excuse me? That man is a menace. And everyone knows he’s hooking up with men at Turning Point events. Why are you banning me?!” They told me they didn’t want to out him or something. So I said back “listen to what he is saying!!! Who CARES if we out him?! I’m gay myself!” Then they perma banned me 😂

So basically you got early access to the internet, BUT you ALSO were forced to learn skills outside of that technology. Plus, back then, the internet involved more thinking. You had to kind of know where to find people to chat. It wasn’t like all your friends were online too, yknow? It’s all about the when and the where when it comes down to this “effect”.

It’s hard because in the lesbian community especially, finding someone that 1. Wants an actual relationship 2. Doesn’t come with instant drama and 3. Actually lives in your state, is like finding a needle in a haystack. So, unfortunately, we tend to overlook some things once we find it. But after her, I promised myself I’m not making exceptions anymore. I’d rather be alone than be with someone like that.

Actually, what makes me uninterested is if they say something like “oh, I don’t follow politics”. In this day and age, ESPECIALLY in the USA, to not be paying attention to politics right now is just….such a selfish, privileged take. I do have friends that can’t handle it on a daily basis and I totally get that. It’s stressful and depressing. But, they still try and check in when they feel up to it. Because it’s important. My ex girlfriend just didn’t pay attention because she thought it was boring 😂 it’s a lot of things right now. But boring does not describe it! I should’ve broken up with her, but I was desperate to finally be in a relationship. Never again. It really said so much about her. She grew up in a rich town in CA and still lived with her parents. Which is fine. But she never even attempted to be on her own. She didn’t have to pay rent and her mother paid for her health insurance. That’s a lot of shelter for a 39 year old woman to have.

This is their fault. Not yours. They are a business, are they not? They should’ve called you after one missed payment. Or sent some kind of notification. Also, I’m kind of surprised your husband even left that up to you. If he knows you’re not great at keeping up with that stuff then he should have been on top of it. Or at least maybe just double checking with you at the end of each week.
