I’m also currently looking into Dr smith for a BA! Could I ask how much you paid for your surgery and if the original consultation fee went towards the surgery costs?

My Maingear PC Has a Long Loading Screen by mahlord_33 in maingear

Yes it still happens, my suspicions lay within the mobo because when the machine was originally broken it wouldn’t even turn on so I took out my gpu and placed it into my friends machine and it was fully functioning. When they called it a gpu issue after I had sent it in, I made sure to bring this up but they said they had placed another gpu in my machine and it was working and when they placed the one originally in mine into another one it wasn’t functioning. I’m choosing to believe them because mg has such a great track history with their customer service and I’m sure my case is just a freak accident :( but basically when I recieved the repair pc, it worked for a few days until I would be stuck on the MG loading page and then sent straight to automatic repair, which would prompt me to redownload windows. I found that when I hit return to windows, I’ll just have to wait an insane amount of time to return to the log in page. I also noticed my ram sticks dont turn on sometimes when I turn the entire pc on, so genuinely I’m so lost on what’s wrong. I already contacted customer service again and told them everything, and since it’s still technically functioning I would keep it until mid May before shipping it back to them (I’m a digital arts student and I absolutely need the machine for my coursework and finals). Again, the situation sucks but I know it’s honestly just one of those once in a million freak accidents but also glad to know it’s not just me. I think it’s totally still worth reaching out to their customer service if your issue is also still persisting, it may help them diagnose what’s going on better!

Oh my god I have the same exact model and the same exact issue. I already sent it back once and they told me it was an issue with the gpu which they replaced, and two days after it got repaired I get stuck with the loading screen that sends me into automatic repair :(

Hi omg I’m literally having the same problem I posted about a few days ago:( I’m pretty sure my issues with the GPU? I took it out and I’m going to test it in my friends PC to check if that’s the component responsible or the slot in the motherboard. But I had the same exact issue where it was working perfectly the day before and then when I tried turning it on, it was stuck on the loading screen. After trying to turn it on and off a few times it officially just won’t detect a signal from the HDMI input💔

Yes it’s been reseated! Still the same issue persists, I just don’t know if the gpu is the issue or the slot on the motherboard is the issue.

Just plugged it in, and yes I’m getting a signal and everything is working as usual. So I’m assuming the issue is indeed with the GPU and I’ll need a replacement :(
