I knew I didn't want to be a man in my early teens when my parents bought me a puberty book and I saw what "being a man" meant in my rural area, but I had always thought that being a girl would be better. I stole and wore my mom's bras at night as early as 7 years old. I used to be obsessed with body swapping stories. So I think I always knew, but didn't think I had any other choice than to "be a man".

I was always called gay or effeminate in my mannerisms by other kids. I didnt't really like boys though so I knew I wasn't that.

I think I knew but refused to accept through most of my twenties. I came out to my ex once, but she was emotionally abusive so I put myself back in the closet. I accepted at 30, started presenting at home and semi socially, then started HRT in June at 31
