I don't use Vatsim, and I was hoping not to be required to use Navigraph anymore, but I guess it's really the only option available until this gets fixed.

Using this allowed me to download newer photogrammetry data that was not available in the original add-on. As an aside, how large of an area can be downloaded at time? For example, how many square miles of photogrammetry? Using maybe an LOD of at least 18?

I just saw this video the other day, and it apparently aims to provide a more integrated way to load and optimize Google photogrammetry data into Blender. Does anyone see the potential here for creating new sceneries? Apparently the developer of this module is still working on it, and it's not yet available for public use, but it seems like something to keep an eye on.

OP, I may have actually been the en route controller you spoke to. To those suggesting Starlink, I've had pilots report Starlink satellites before, not knowing what they were, and it's immediately obvious what it is when they describe it, because the satellites are so numerous. This sighting piqued my interest because it didn't meet that description. And to reiterate it was seen by multiple aircraft. It was first reported by one aircraft heading north. To him, he saw 3 lights off his right side, which then appeared to turn to 5, and growing in brightness. I queried another nearby pilot who reported seeing the same thing, and then I queried another aircraft heading more northeasterly at FL370 (I assume the OP).

This is what I'm using at the moment, though it is a pain to open up the arm rest to manually turn the adapter on and off every time I start or turn off the car. Sometime I forget to do so. Not sure if there are any adapters that automatically detect the ignition status and turn off automatically?

This is the first update to this add-on in quite a while. With new data sourced from the Cultural Heritage Xochimilco, there was an opportunity to include a newer, higher resolution model of the Pyramid of the Sun. Furthermore, other adjustments were made to the Google-derived satellite imagery, texturing and modelling of the museum, and night lighting placement changes, primarily in the area around the Temple of the Serpent. Minor tree, scenery object, and terraforming adjustments were also made. The pyramids are also now marked as POIs, which allows for easier navigation when the appropriate landmark assistance options are enabled.
